    I suppose it could look ott but if you equate it to a graphic it's only 8 bands. That said, it's a lot more flexible, the reason I've got a second is so I can have two basses eq'd differently so I'll be bypassing one preamp to use the other and vise versa.

    Yes EV's but the replaced 10 is an eminence, I have the removed driver and intended to recone (145) but the eminence sounds great. The only reason I'm getting rid is I prefer the sound of multiple 10s otherwise I'd keep it. It's an amazing sounding cab, I had a boogie 1x15 and 2x10 which I sold to get this and tbh this pisses on those cabs but it doesn't sound quite like my ampeg pr810h so I'm scouting for 610s

This is a Boogie 1516, has a new 10" 300 watt driver, I've recovered the cab and repainted the grills and baffle board so not only does it sound amazing, it looks brand new.     I messaged the seller saying I was interested in the bass but wondered about the machine heads, the 70s serial number and the lack of case and candy, they replied saying they bought it off an emigrating friend and they had the same concerns so had the independent appraisal to put their mind at rest. So it's all fine

    The headstock is the wrong shape as you say, the decal looks like the lacquer underneath is a different colour, as if it had been sanded? The machine heads are the Chinese ones used by Squier and other budget brands, the pick guard is the wrong shape around the jack socket and doesn't run parallel to the bottom of the body which might not always be the case but just looks wrong and sets off alarm bells
