1. No probs, thought I would ask. Will sell it and if you still have the amp for sale, will come back to you ... Enjoy the weekend.
2. Don't suppose you would do a trade for an i7 Intel laptop with a fresh factory installed Windows 7 x64. think it still has some warranty. Was going to sell it but need an amp

7.
Welcome! I like you already. You seem to fit right in. If not, you can just change the BC mold. Synchronicity. I've had a Squier Jazz for a few months too. What are the chances, eh? ......... Oooooooooh. Marathon: never heard about it, but I'm a noob. If it isn't readily available on Google, can you post a picture of it? Now that's talking. So you're not antiquated at all, but a dino like me! Hm. You're not synchronised with the Mercans, that's for sure... Everyhting was perfect ...... but no, that wasn't good enough for you. You just had to ruin it with the last word, hadn't you? Enjoy! Don't be a stranger! best, bert
LOL, so I screwed it up with the Peace, well it is a Dino's right of old age. nice to meet Bert I am usually very laid back, unless the kids are squabbling. The Marathon images can be found here: http://www.jazz-zone.com/bass/shergold/album/ I have already put it up for sale. It is a lovely bass but found I was starting to need the less wideness of the Jazz Bass as I am finding it slightly harder to stretch the old fingers. Thank you for the welcome Best regards Jason
8. I have created a quick photo album as some people seem not to be able to access the FEEBay page that has ended The photo's can be accessed from here: http://www.jazz-zone...shergold/album/ Cheers
9. Hi Karl, How are you doing? Yes it was, I took your advice and came on here. I hated having to bump the price up on FEEBay. I could not get any images up with the posting so it would be nice for the guys to being to 'Drool/Perve' LOL Thanks for the advice and help with regard to Bass Chat Cheers - Jason
10. I have taken the decision to part with my beautiful Shergold Marathon Bass MK1a stereo output in black - Circe early 80's and a rare(ish) guitar these days, so I am informed. It has never been gigged and is the standard 4-string bass with a scale length measuring at 34 inches with maple fretboard. It is a stereo bass with dual mono output, allowing you to bi-amp the bass if needed, as it actually splits the signal thus enabling the sending of the two top strings and the bottom 2 strings to separate amps. Apart from a few nicks due to age and cracked lacquer which was a trait with Shergold guitars, it is in very good playing condition and well looked after. I recently put new Rotosound strings on it and it is a pleasure to play, and has a fantastic sound. So, why not own a piece of heritage : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shergold and http://en.wikipedia....rgold_Marathon. I am looking at about £400, as it is in good condition. Thank you for taking the time to check this sale out I have tried to upload images of the bass, but the uploader (both versions) is not or appears not to be working so any interested I can email over the images.
11. Hi, I am the latest newbie to walk into this wonderful Bass world and thought I would introduce myself and say 'Hi!' I've been playing bass for about 38 years but not been involved with a band for quite awhile, so tend to jam to beats I create on my PC with a DAW. My present basses are a Squire Jazz that I've had for a few months, as well as a Shergold Marathon which I have had since the early 80's (was a loaner after my Fender Jazz was nicked, liked it so much I bought it) and about to sell. I play through an old Roland Spirit Bass 50, which is about 25 years old and was a practise amp, but now it suffices for what I do but like the idea of an Ashdown. I grew up listening to 60s and 70s rock and prog (my overall preference), but I like most genres of music including smooth jazz. It it sounds good and and gives me goose bumps, then it is cool. Job wise, I work in the IT arena for my sins but in my early days I worked in stage management/lighting and photography - Good days I am looking forward to chatting, accepting advice from my piers, learning and passing on anything I may know. Peace
