there is a case with it,its one of the orange leather Gibson Thunderbird ones...but they arent the correct ones..
i will post,or if you prefer collection...or ill meet half way, with fuel cost. -
the brum stores are rubbish,in my opinion..
be nice to go somewhere thats got something worth buying..
and hopefully people worth talkin to,rather than students who know nowt..
my brother collected a Bognor exctasy from their newcastle store and they were a great bunch of people, who looked liked theyd been picked for their knowledge.. -
My GAS for
MM stingray-maple neck in Sunburst-natural or black...
and
Lakland 55-02deluxe in the new trans amber finish..with rosewood board...
im currently shifting a couple of things,so hopefully ill get one of these.. -
no worries..
-
you wouldnt be interested in a 5string Sandberg Umbo in Emerald green? its been factory relic'd also.....
-
i had a bass taken from me without permission,it ended up at MusicGround.....
im not saying the two are connected........
but, they were complete and utter C**ts when i challenged them about it..apparently they had swapped the guitar, knowing it was mine, for some Crappy Hiwatt amps.....lovely.. -
i had the opertunity to buy a white falcon bass at xmas 08..
it was awful..looked fab,but as a bass guitar,it was as usefull as an ash tray on a motorbike..
maybe it was just a "bad one" and no doubt who ever owns it now has a diff opinion..
they look cool, but not very practical for me... -
i have a Sanberg Umbo 5 in Emerald green,it was Relic'd but Sandberg..its got a hipshot added also..?
-
my first set up was
Washburn B2-that my folks had a Union Jack sprayed onto i still have it.. it means the world to me.
and i played it through a Peavey TNT130..sounded lovely (as i thought at the time) but weighed a TON!!!!!
now, mixture of Laklands,1 sandberg UmBo 5string and a Roadworn jazz..
through,Ampeg Svt Classic head and 2,2x10 classic cabs...
a tuner,Digitech Bass synth wah (a gift from Glenn hughes),Mxr bass auto Q,AShdown octave, sansamp bass driver di and a line selecter..picato strings too! -
Thanks for posting. That arrangement of Human Nature is great. Wasn't too keen on most of the fills in the verses though - in my opinion they were too busy, and didn't really add anything. Great feel though, considering the demanding technical aspect.
i hear ya,maybe the space in the versus should be left as "space" but to me,the licks he played were CooOOOooool licks..
its like salt, add to own taste
check out his other vids-he's got a couple up with him and a Piccolo bass..once again,to me,its top drawer.. -
Jim, I would also like it to be known that I endorse you! lol

This is Uriah Duffy,a close personel friend of mine, and one of my hero's..
i love everything about it,the tone, the feel, the grooOOOOooooOve and the musicianship...
however,i understand, thats my personel taste,so i dont expect you all to like him..but to those who do,but havent heard of him before,i hope you get as much pleasure from watching and hearing him as i do.

ill offer discounts to you guys
im not sure how to post link's so my appologies..
EDIT-i appear to have posted links! -
PERSONALLY- i think Tone is important...although,you can get great sounds through Digital equiptment!
but to me...you cant make Chicken soup from Chicken Sh*t...so without the Tone to work with in the first place, you aint gona get it by adding "false" tone
but what do i know...?.....
everyone's ears are different...
so aslong as YOU are happy with YOUR TONE and YOUR bass, thats all that matters! -
Never heard that as a description!
