Hey guys, i'm looking into getting a new bass and ive decided to venture into the land of the 5 string, mainly for playing rock/ metal type stuff, probably looking at spending about £800 and quite like these so far: Warwick Corvette/ Streamer Musicman Stingray Sandberg? (havent heard a bad thing about them on here) are there any others you guys can recommend?

  5. WOW! lots of input from you guys thanks! I was thinking of getting a rosewood 'board (stick to what i know ) but i do like the look of a maple (especially the candy apple red with black scratchplate )

  10. Hey Guys, got a little problem when playing through an amp with my Yamaha RBX170, the E string is alot louder than all the other strings especially at stage volume, anyone know what this could be? (compression helps but id rather get rid of the problem once and for all)
