3. Have a bump. If this is still here by the time I sell my Fender, this is the first place I'll come.
4. I have a Fender Jazz V? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/166857-fsft-usa-fender-jazz-v/
5. Hey Bottomfeed... Man From Funkle...rings a bell. Steve P your drummer? I've done a few shows with him at East Bridgwater School. Top bloke.
6. Looks lush. As you're interested in an American Jazz, I have one of these: http://basschat.co.u...39#entry1521939
7. Thanks! Am I right in thinking that 5 in a line tuners are rarer on Fenders than the 4 + 1 style?
8. Looking to sell or trade my USA Fender Jazz V with Fender hard case. This instrument is, going by the serial number, a 2000 model. It was formerly owned by ex Tull bassist Jon Noyce, and as such has obviously been gigged. But for a bass that's been around the world, it is in good condition. It is used by me once a week at band practice and about 10 gigs a year, nothing heavy - the odd big band gig and orchestra pit gigs. There are a few small dings here and there, but none of them added by me, all the dings are authentic Jethro Tull! There is a mark on the headstock, visible in the pictures. This is residue from a sticker and is easily removed. Hardware is all standard, except the Straplocks. Pots are clean, neck is sound. I purchased it in 2006 from The Gallery in Camden. I still have the receipt, which I will include, which shows the bass as 'ex Jon Noyce'. I will also include a CD of Tull album 'Dot Com' that Mr Noyce signed for me, which also carries the signature of Ian Anderson. I am looking to sell or trade this bass - [s]£850[/s] [s]£750[/s] £600 I have no firm ideas for trade, but would prefer 5 strings, even 6. Active or passive, fretted or fretless - just fancy a change really. I'm in no great hurry, and I realise that basses aren't selling too well at the moment. I should add that I'm financially unable to offer cash adjustment your way, so would need to be a straight swap or cash adjustment my way. I am based in Yeovil in Somerset, and I will post to mainland UK at buyers expense, or if the distance is reasonable, in person. Any questions, just ask Anyway, PICS! 9. Another Somerset type here, Yeovil. I play in a swing band called Berties Big Band.
10. More pics here http://flic.kr/s/aHsjyr27Br
11. Well, here's mine! http://basschat.co.uk/topic/15843-my-5-string-fender-jazz/
12. Thanks Jondeeman, it's a great player too! I still have the sales receipt from The Gallery and a signed CD of 'Dot Com',which Jon Noyce signed for me and also carries Ian Anderson's signature. I am in no particular rush to sell, but I just feel like a change. Also looking to replace my GK MB150, which I bought for £60 in a pawn shop. That was a major bargain if ever there was one!
13. Well, it's taken me 4 years, but here they are! These are the only pictures I have to hand as as I am not home at the moment, but I will get more soon. Also, a YouTube video of said bass being used by it's far more proficient (previous) owner. I am considering selling or trading this bass. If it generates sufficient interest, I shall list it in the relevant section.
14. I played a charity gig with Chris Barrie (Rimmer) in the audience. My bass itself is also a bit of a star, having been used by Jon Noyce to record the Jethro Tull album Dot Com and on their 2004 tour.
15. Hi all, I am the proud owner of the 5 string Jazz that Jon Noyce used on the Jethro Tull album 'Dot Com'. and several tours. I'm just wondering if this would be an interesting item for a Jethro Tull memorabilia collector. I'm not really interested in selling, just interested in feedback. I paid £850 for it in 2006 from The Gallery.
