2. Bump, more trade options added.
3. I have a lot of gigs around the country in the next few weeks, so if anyones interested we could meet up somewhere.
4. I have a few fretless basses and need to get a fretted 5 string. So this is for reluctant sale or trade. It's in excellent condition, has a fantastic low action and loads of mwahh !! It has an unlined ebony board. Trades I'd like are a Status, Roscoe, MTD, 5 string jazz bass, Sei, Stingray 5, Bongo 5 - pretty much any decent 5 string. I can add cash if necessary. The sale price is a very reasonable (I think) £1195 but I'm open to sensible offers. It comes with a Warwick gigbag. Personal collection only from Birmingham. Or I could meet halfway or something. Thanks
5. bUMP. This is a bargain price, try it you may like it, if not you can always sell it and get your money back

10. Excellent condition. I use one in a couple of songs with one of my bands, this is my spare. I've gone a bit mad with the bass buying just recently though . They're about £80 new, I'd like £50 which includes UK postage.
11. Just having a sort out of accumulated accessories. I have a pair of rack ears for an iAmp 800 and a Markbass LM2. Both come with the necessary fixing screws. £10 per set including postage. Markbass sold !
12. He was a teacher at Basstech college when I was a student there back in the 90's. He played Wal 5 string basses and was an amazing slap player.
13. I got this a month or so ago with my Alembic bass. I prefer cases though and it's taking up a bit of room. It's new....seriously, the guy bought it to ship the bass in !. It's like this http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_sp...ec_Contego.html It's a grey colour and really is very well made, probably the best gigbag that I've seen. I'd like £70 which includes postage, that's a £40 saving.
14. Just a quick posting as an appreciation for the guy's talents as one of the countries top luthiers. I bought a used but mint condition fretless bass a couple of weeks ago from a local music store. I changed the strings when I got it home and tried to adjust the truss rod, only to find the rod had seized and the adjuster had gotten stripped. Anyway I took it to John on Monday this week. He's fitted a new rod and done a fantastic set up job on the bass. It's now playing great and I'm very happy. He didn't rip me off either, despite being incredibly busy he managed to fit me in. I can't believe though that Warwick fit such cheap and nasty aluminium truss rods into such expensive instruments.
15. I don't see the point. What's it doing that my Pitchblack isn't ? The Pitchblack being £30 or thereabouts cheaper too. Isn't it just a gimmick ?

17. In immaculate condition. GS 112 The portable GS 112 combines full lows, “growly”mids, and a smooth top end with an impressive amount of volume to make one of the most popular cabinets on the market. When the GS 112 was released it not only won awards and magazine product “shootouts” but it changed the way bass players think of 12” speakers. Fatter sounding than 10” speakers and quicker responding than 15” speakers, this cabinet has found a home in all styles of music. Specs One 12" cast frame woofer, 56 oz. magnet Power handling: 300 watts Impedance: 8 ohms Phenolic tweeter with integral phase plug Custom crossover with variable tweeter control One Neutrik Speakon and two 1/4" inputs Frequency response: 42 Hz to 16 kHz Sensitivity: 95 DB 1W 1M Heavy-duty spring loaded handle Interlocking corners Dimensions: 14"H x 19"W x 18"D 7-ply, void free Philippine mahogany Weight: 42 lbs. I'd like £250 including postage please. Or you can collect it from me in the West Midlands.
