  1. Full disclosure, this unit doesn't work in it's current state!

I bought this item on here in March (fully working then), and it was fine up until a few days when it went pop; and now (confirmed with focusrite) has a physical fault.

Could be a great project for someone with electronic skills. £45 (or near offer) plus postage, or collect in Northampton. I'm offering no guarantees, sold as seen. Video showing what happens when it's turned on

  2. Jack bought an audio interface from me. Absolute pleasure to deal with, prompt replies, and super swift payment. Absolutely recommended to all BassChatters without reservation.

Thanks Jack - have fun with the interface

As much as I love my MacBook Pro M1, ive recently noticed some of my plugins are using quite a bit of memory. 16GB is fine most of the time but id like bit more.

Very tempted to get the new Air M4 with 24GB and sell the MBP. I also like its smaller form factor.

Just wondered if anyone is using one and how it performs. Im thinking mostly about any thermal issues with, say, 20 tracks in cubase or Logic.

I do have another real reason for changing, as I use Gig performer live, and that can use up to 30GB if everything is loaded, so more ram is definitely going to be useful there to avoid too much swap file use.

    I don't have an M4 MBA, but I do have the 15inch M3 MBA.

Can report that it takes everything I throw at it, although I'm not a really demanding user of virtual instruments. I run Logic 11 with around 30ish tracks of audio no problem. The more modern M3 onwards MBA's drive multiple monitors which is the main reason I got this one. I also have an M3 MBP that I use for work. Much prefer the MBA for its sleeker looks. I'm sure if you get an M4 MBA with lots of RAM you will be just fine

  4. Akai MPC One (Black version), currently running version 3 Firmware (the latest version), with some additional extras.

    whats included.
    - the MPC itself, inc PSU
    - a large capacity (128gb - i think) SD Card to hold your creations/expansions etc
    - a classic 90's House F9 expansion pack (paid for)
    - a fitted screen protector (not the flimsy piece of film that people never take off, but a proper hardened screen protector - like the sort you fit to your phone)

    - Akai MPK Mini 25 key keyboard (think this is a 2nd generation unit)
    - USB Cable to link the keyboard to the MPC

This really is a complete DAWless setup with the MPK keyboard. You can record multiple audio tracks (like a DAW) alongside your MPC compositions. All the gear is in excellent condition. If you prefer the version 2 software/firmware - this can be downgraded with a simple free download from akai professional

I have more samplers/MPC's than I know what to do with, and I prefer my older vintage units and my Isla S2400

Postage is not an issue as I have the original box, or you are welcome to collect from my place in Northampton & see it working

Focusrite 18i8 interface. 4 preamps, 4 further line inputs, further 8 inputs via ADAT, and 2 via SPDIF, Output via 1/4 jacks to your monitors, and 2 independent headphone outs (which I found super useful when tracking vocalists in my room) - Midi IN/OUT too!
Comes complete with power supply and I'm sure I can dig out a USB A cable if you need it

I bought this interface here a while ago, and have been using it for all my recording needs hooked up to an M3 Mac running Sequoia into Logic Pro 11, with a MOTU 8-pre via ADAT. I was previously an Audient fanboy, but this bit of gear has turned me on to Focusrite, particularly the support I received from Focusrite Technical support which is outstanding if you've never experienced it

Reason for sale, just upgraded to the same Clarett version of the same interface

Can post with a bank transfer, otherwise it's collect (with a bank transfer :) ) from the NN3 area of Northampton. No paypal, cash, venmo or any other payment method. I can ship with most couriers (your choice, as you will be paying for it :) )

  6. Looper and drum machine. Bought during lockdown, used for a couple of weeks then went into storage. Complete with original box, original PSU and loop unit.

Have reduced the price for Basschatters, so no offers at this time. Will post if payment made by bank transfer, otherwise collection from Northampton, NN3

  7. Trace Elliot GP7SM 130 1x15" Combo, fully working in great condition. Couple of small scuffs the most noticeable is on the lower left of the grill as per photo. A recent back injury means that I am unable to move this (or any other similar sized bass gear)

Bought this just over a year or so ago from someone who had recently serviced it

Collection is from NN3 near the A43/A45 junction in Northampton. Happy for you to test it out before you take it away
