When playing amped would a compressor sort it? It sounds more like a tonal difference though if one sounds like rounds and the other flats. Quite a mystery

High e string broke on my acoustic during a rather rousing climax to "sweet child of mine" dont think anybody noticed haha

Cant believe there is someone else lol, was gonna say rolling stones, circa steel wheels, aerosmith, permanent vacation , van halen , the roth era or his solo albums, but think I lack the skills , in honesty probably lack it for the poison gig, but I recall they were a hard working band and promoted themselves well, put on great shows and did the whole sex drugs nrock nroll thing without suffering too many major disasters like the crue, -
Poison 80s to early 90s would have been my gig

Vintage v300 was voted by one guitar magazine as the best acoustic at £1000 and under, it cost about £135. Well worth checking. I have an epi hummingbird which is lush too, the new chinese sigma seem very nice too

Guitar pro, tux guitar and amazing slow downer are good

Looks like I'm the only one who is not a big fan, friend of mine plays their stuff in the car a lot along with ed sheerhan, drives me nuts.

I, m quite lucky in the fact that , I greatly enjoy 80s hair metal , and there is a minor resurgence of bands from scandinavia etc, like reckless love, crazy lixx, crash diet, veins of jenna , I also found a great australian aor band called white widdow. Other european and scandinavian bands are also turning out great metal in the melodic death, symphonic and power metal genres

Thanks brensabre, thats great, just what I needed, I can give it a last few coats, then I have my parents arrive tuesday for a holiday, so I can leave it for a while and carry on with other stuff, have got to finish chiselling out an extra bit of control cavity in the body, I have already routed it for a mudbucker neck pickup. My main dread is cutting out my tort pick guard as it has to hide all my cack handed woodwork. Thanks again have a great weekend, I, m off to see "the rolling clones" tonight

Looks n sounds ok to me , good job sir.

I like a simple line as it gives me a break from staring in fixed terror at the fretboard for the more complex lines! "Gimme all your lovin'" is a particular favourite, 3 note progression but drives the song and gives me a chance to shake the ol' booty and yell backing vox.

Off to see Billy Sheehan tomorrow

Nice one, billy is my idol, first aware of him from david lee roth band, then discovered talas, wish I could have got up there,
