Up for sale is my Fender MIM 5 String Jazz bass, midnight wine with black pickguard. The knobs have been changed but I still have the original ones that I'll throw in, along with the original white pickguard. Its also been fitted with a Badass II bridge. There is one small ding on the back which ive tried to take a picture of, but its hard to see, literally no more than 1cm. The bass will come with a padded soft bag too. Its a bit tatty but it does the job. Plus its free so dont argue!
I love the look and colour of this bass, but it just doesnt get played much anymore so deserves to go to someone else.
Ive never posted a bass before so I have no idea where to start. Id prefer collection from the Wolverhampton area, but im willing to travel say within the midlands? (I dont drive so I'll have to be nice to people to get some transport). I guess I could sort out further travel or postage if needed, but it might take me longer to sort it all out.
Looking for £250.

Think I may just have to get one of these when my money comes through now. How can I not buy a pedal with that many knobs?!
Me too, although I prefer the drive, wah and octaver pedals that I have to those on the M9 so I am keeping hold of a few pedals too.
I plan on doing a similar thing.
Mainly going to use the M9 for modulation and filters, then keep some seperate drive pedals on the board. -
Ive been wondering the same thing actually.
Im guessing its if you have 2 effects on at the same time, and both of them have parameters set for an expression pedal. Having two expression pedals would then give you control over each individual effect? Rather than them both being controlled at the same time. -
I have a low gain on most of the time just to add a bit of bite to my sound. When I do decide to use a distortion, then I like it to be full on and nasty sounding.

Im curious about this too. Ive been thinking of getting a Vintage for a while if i get the monies in, and I think having the option of a tweeter may just about do it for me.

Ive wanted a bongo for so long, but just dont have the money. I think theres a lot of colours that make them look rank, but when you find a sweet one you just know you need it!
The expression pedal can control any parameter of any fx and can control more than one at a time, so say in heel position you have reduced the depth (bare in mind you set the max and min so it could be 20% and 80% not just all or nothing), but say you found this a bit thin sounding you could also have it reduce the mix to put more of your original signal in to thicken it up.
Thanks for the reply, sounds exactly what I want. Ive just gotta get some money together now and I'll be buying this for sure. Roll on pay day! -

I seriously want one of these. I wish I had a house so I could sell it to fund my gas.

Im still not convinced by any of the dirt sounds so far tbh. But thats no big issue as id have space on my board for those pedals along with the M9. I reckon if i go ahead and get this, id use the channels mainly for modulation and filters to give me options.
To the people that do own an M9, what 6 effects have you chosen for your main 'scene'? And also what is everybody else considering using?
Im thinking; octave, whammy, wah, envelope filter, delay, phaser. But then im thinking what if i want a tremolo, or a bit of chorus? hmm. But i dont use them much, so i guess i could make a different scene for those. -
Sounds interesting this. How does it actually work?

This is starting to grow on me now. Ive never really been a fan of multi fx pedals, but this seems very useful and good quality. Im seriously considering selling half my pedals and getting one of these instead.
Does it have any good fuzz settings on it? I havnt heard anything about that so far, and a fuzz seems to be one of those pedals that everyone is picky about with specific sounds. -

I love it when you can finally play a completed pedalboard. Ive been waiting for adaptors, power supplies, and all other bits and bobs recently while my pedals just sat there. Ive enetually connected mine up now, and i can definitely feel the creativity coming back!...others may refer to it as noise...

My camera is bost, so tacky phone pictures will have to do for now. This first one is my "essentials" board.
Chain goes; MultiComp
>SYB-5
> OC-2
> Blowtorch
> Analogue Filter
> Valcoder
> Carbon Copy
> Phase 90
> MXR M-80
And then this one is the fun board. Problem is, I cant actually afford to connect it all up yet...bad times.
Deep Impact
> Pichblack
> VFB-2
> Whammy
> Big Muff Pi
> Cream Pie
> Noise Box
> Wah
> Nano Bass Balls
> DOD Envelope Filter
> DOD Deep Freeze Chorus
> BF-2
> Memory Man
> BDI21 -
I'll be stalking if you ever wish to sell it seperately.
