whats the difference?
-
how big is the guitar stand? just for one or multiple guitars? sorry if there are pictures, they wont load at work
also where are you based?
thanks -
Oops I'm useless at replying, I'm gonna reply to everyone on my lunchbreak later today!
-
If you can wait till I get paid at the end of the month I'll take this?
-
i always just cut the velcro into thin strips and put it round the edge of the boss pedals rubber, worked for years with no problems, in fact i think the tu2 i did it to was the most secure pedal on my board
-
surely the harmony setting would be the pitch shifted signal blended with the original?

Thanks, all. Unfortunately the plans I had for an Octaver in that format have just had a bit of a knock-back, so the board looks likely to be completed with an MXR deluxe octave and a polytune mini.

seen the mooer micro series pitch box? does octave down and its only like 55 quid on ebay -
yeah i had a boss mt 2 and i thought it was sh*t, that was years ago though.
i have a pearce BC1 and can cop all his tones easy peasy, its all about whacking up the mids at 1khz, in the books ive got it shows the exact settings he used for certain eras.
my favourite has always been the distortion sound on the PARK album, which is just pretty much the gain from channel 2 of the pearce. -
Just to echo what tayste said about leads! I had some awful noise in my setup which was caused by one dodgy lead!
-
I've got a few score books and things that show images of his various rigs and signal path etc
There's loads of text about it too but it's all in japanese -
yo bro, if you're after the crack distortion takeshi uses a boss mt-2 metal zone for the 'extra gainy' bits around that era, like the first riff you hear in that and the riff in shodoku etc.
the core tone comes from his pearce BC1 preamp, but you can get pretty close if you whack up bass and treble, the key is using a parametric EQ and massively boosting the mids at somewhere like 1khz
i used to geek over this guys tone totally and its really helped me develop my own sounds. -
what you replacing it with, joe?
-
just wanted to say i think these are the best bass synths! whoever buys it will enjoy!
-
my shuker is easily the best bass ive ever ever played, everything feels easier to play on it, but jon did take ten million years to make it, i waited over 2 years for mine and it was a very tough wait

Haha my board is always such a mess it sometimes takes me ages to remember where the leads go
-
Got my whole board apart from my synth powered from shredfreak adaptor with two daisy chains
-
In talks with someone to make me a custom board, here's my provisional layout,
http://pbckt.com/pd.JNTOnr
Was a complete pain taking everything off, gaffer tape nightmare! -
Sure thing
Bass goes into little input/output patch bay thing
-line 6 m5 w/ exp pedal (green on left)
-Loop switcher
Send A = markbass synth
Send b = two stacked cranetortoise bass distortions
- SA bef pro w/ hot hand
- olc flipster OD
-lovepedal echo baby
And then stuck next to the echo baby is a foot switch for my Pearce preamp
-
Here's a more recent shot of the board,
http://pbckt.com/pd.JNO292
This all runs into a Pearce Bc1 preamp (tone heaven) and into an orange bass terror (just used as a poweramp)
Trying to get a custom board made up that can accommodate my bc1 preamp as well to have all my tone shaping in one heavy case haha -
I can imagine that getting destroyed on tour!!
I might look into custom making a pedalboard or something -
Thinking about velcroing my 2u preamp to my pedaltrain and then velcroing my pedals ontop, it feels like it should be sturdy enough, can anyone see any problems with this I may have overlooked??
-
Got one more pedal I can squeeze on the board, can't decide between putting on my OLC Flipster or my frostwave blue ringer v2!!!
-
Most of my effects are essential, if we gigged without them... Well we would sound awful hahha
