  1. My 13 year old son loves his Squire Bronco (went to Wunjo bass shop in London and played every one they had before picking out the best).

Truss rod needs the occasional tweak due to seasonal variation but it's a cracking little bass.

Before that we tried him on an Ashbory Mini-Bass, but that was not a great success.

  2. Bought the same Orange Head Mentioned above from CJPJ. Smooth transaction, left to my own devices in his man cave to try it out.

Good communication. Everything excellent. Deal with confidence.

  3. Up for grabs is my 2004 Zeller Double Bass, including:

All this for only £750 £700.

I bought this many years ago (I recon 2008), and it has served me well in orchestral situations, and taken me as far as ABRSM grade 6 classical. It's strung with orchestral strings at the moment. This bass was set up by Malcom Healy of Healy violins.

This Zeller double bass features a carved solid spruce front, laminated maple back, sides and amber gold varnish. It is fitted with an ebony fingerboard and tailpiece and full plate machines.

This is local pick-up from Chertsey / Woking / Central London only.
I will deliver for petrol money within 100 miles.

It does show signs of having been used for 8 years by myself. The previous owner was extremely careful of it so most of these are a result of having been left on the floor.

Reasons for selling: I haven't played it for 2 years. I left the orchestra after moving house and having a child. I keep promising myself to go back one day but it hasn't materialised. This is too nice (and cumbersome) to have sitting around.

I'll get photos of the gewa case if it's a deal breaker.

Dated. Easier than taking a p-bass neck off.

    The back is ply.

There is a discoloured band on the fingerboard.

  4. For sale, one barefaced midget-t with adjustable tweeter (mk 2).

Bought new from Barefaced direct several years ago, and it has had some good use. I bought it to go atop the compact, but I prefer the sound of just the compact so I'm moving this on.

The details are on the barefaced site, and I'm pretty sure you know what you're getting into. http://barefacedbass.com/product-range/midget.htm

There are a few scuffs in the tolex, but nothing too bad.

Collection is preferred from Woking, Chertsey or Central London.
I will deliver within 100 miles of TW20 for petrol money or train fare.

If you are further afield I am happy to ship, but at your expense, and it will be UPS direct and insured to the full value.

    Trade options:

    • Fender USA P-bass (+ balance of cash to you).

RockSmith on PC allows you to use unofficial DLC created by the public.

I bought Rocksmith on steam for precisely this reason: I have it on PS4 but the songs available on customsforge.com require jail-breaking the hardware which is a no-no.

It was available on amazon for £8 for a while.

    Best £8 I've ever spent.

  6. *** SOLD ***

Up for grabs is my Sadowsky NYC VINTAGE PJ4

    sadowsky.thumb.jpg.64d0fab12b12671c1b848bbe648cfca0.jpg

It is in excellent condition. Nice and light.  Superb tone, slim neck and quick playing action.

    Weight: 7.8 lbs. Serial: 5780.

    FINISH | '59 Burst
    BODY | Alder
    NECK | Maple 21 frets
FINGERBOARD | Ebony, 12" Radius, 1 1/2" Nut Width, Vintage Tint
    PICKGUARD | Tortoise
    HARDWARE | Chrome
    PICKUPS | Sadowsky P/J
    WEIGHT | 7.8 lbs. (3.54 kg)

The history of this bass as far back as I know it is:

Andy Baxter http://andybaxterbass.com/details.php?id=715 sold the bass to psychoandy in the summer of 2014 with "one careful owner".

I bought the bass from psychoandy in November of the same year.

So it's had three very careful owners. It's no longer quite as pristine as when it arrived to me: there is some buckle rash, a shallow 1" scratch in the lacquer on the player side lower horn (I can't get a decent photo but if it's a deal breaker I can post what I have) - and the output jack has a tendency to work loose.

I am selling because I need to liberate some cash for a project (non-bass) I'm working on, and whilst this was once my 'go-to' bass for all occasions, it has fallen out of favour. I have a 5-string Metro that ticks many of the boxes this does, and my four string of favour is currently a yamaha BB2024.

It comes in the hard case it came to me in (as pictured on the baxter web link) and I am prepared to ship at the buyers expense and risk.  Local pick-up from Chertsey, Woking or central London is preferred. I am also willing to drive to meet if it's a reasonable distance (for some petrol money).

Please feel free to ask questions. The only trade option is a beaten up old Fender USA precision valued at less than £650 + remainder of cash my way. That may be a pipe dream, let's see. Sensible offers considered.
