Have for sale a excellent [b]Wal Mk3 5 String[/b]. The bass sounds amazing live or in the mix, it is good in condition, It has couple of issues it has had a 2 inch surface crack on the rear of the headstock(see photo) pro repaired several years ago and had not caused any issues whatsoever since. There is slight scuff on the rear top of the body which a luthier could easly buff out (see photo) other than that bass is excellent condtion. Well regardings Marks gear a Kingbass Mk2 played only three times by Mark sold recently well above the current market value.. Mark also auctioned his flame maple KINGBASS MK1 which cost new about £2.5k price sold for £6,700 ! The Fender Jazz Mark king was an edition on 42..there where serious issues with bulid quality which was common knowledge hence they where not that desirable and affected the resale price, none of the ones for sale ever belonged to Mark.

The amp came from Ashdown.

Really..well as said earier "it a one off with the Retroglide artist paintjob and the first 1000w version made for Mark king .Not a standard production unit....

Warwick, the standard is 2 x250w and made in china, this one was hand made by Mark Gooday (Ashdown MD) to much higher spec it has 2 x500 at 4ohm output and a one off custom "Retroglide" album cover artwork on the whole of the top face of the amp will post photo soon.

[size=5]I am thinking of selling Marks King's own "Superfly Retroglide" this is one off special hand bulit and with a stunning Top Plate artist painted with the Retroglide album cover graphics. Hi John, well if you tried a Calibas they are fantastic basses their low end and mids really poke through ilive or in a mix .. The added high C and the single coils give amazing clarity to Chords..The control layout is standard JD with the audition of EQ presence control the end brass one on the eq this acts like a gain control that increases or decreaces the amount of eq added to the output sound. Great if you dont want a in your face full on active sound.

Hi, decided to sell this amazing instrument, it is stunningly made and sounds amazing.It was orginally made for Roger Newell (Chaka Khan) and was made 1988. This cost £3750 but willing to accept £1535 or trade for other high end bass..try me.
