Hi John, well if you tried a Calibas they are fantastic basses their low end and mids really poke through ilive or in a mix .. The added high C and the single coils give amazing clarity to Chords..The control layout is standard JD with the audition of EQ presence control the end brass one on the eq this acts like a gain control that increases or decreaces the amount of eq added to the output sound. Great if you dont want a in your face full on active sound.

Hi, decided to sell this amazing instrument, it is stunningly made and sounds amazing.It was orginally made for Roger Newell (Chaka Khan) and was made 1988. This cost £3750 but willing to accept £1535 or trade for other high end bass..try me.

This bridge gives a fretless type tone from a fretted bass ! These basses speak for themselves all the classic JAYDEE tones and the added punch of a middle pickup, sounds something like a Kent Smith when switched in. The bass is an early 80s..1983 a great period for these basses, it has been giged some scratches to the side and rear of the body...May exchange for a nice MM Stingray 4, Gary Wilis ibanez, Vigieur etc..price is cheap £795..The bass has also been re -fretted recently and restrung with Rotosounds too..

I am selling this amazing WAL MK3 5 string made in the Pete Stevens era. It has beautifully Shedua top, it has an amazing and useable deep pokey punchy bass tone with low mids that cuts through in any mix "the classic Wal Tone " It has had a professional luther repair to a surface hair line crack on the rear of the headstock and neck about 2" long each., this is not structural and does not effect the bass in any way, It has has been so expertly repaired it would not show in photos. The going price for a these for sale now is £3000 in the uk I seen one on ebay US for £4000 I am asking £2500... The bass comes with genuine Wal Grey/Blue hardcase too. I may also consider trades of maybe two basses or one bass of the same value intrested in Tobias,Sadowsky, Celender,Status,Marleux, Jaydee,Jaco Fretless,Dingwall, MM Classic or Pre EB etc. Overseas parties please can arrange there own courier if they wish to purchase thanks.
