They are around 9lb and bloody marvelous basses, jazz neck, active pups, rolled fingerboard, hm bridge.
Even better with a tortie plate on!

Almost everything looks better with a tortie plate on! -
Thanks for the replies, guys. 9lbs? Sweet - same ballpark as my MIJ 62 reissue Jazz (9.08lbs/4.12kg), which is the lightest of my current set of basses!

Truly jaw-dropping!
I am in Birmingham and have just made a New Year's resolution to always try before buying, so I guess that rules me out of this. But ... just out of interest ... what's the weight? (The inevitable bad back sufferer's question.) -
Yup - it's all gone pear shaped for me, too.

Judging by the 'artists' on the web site using Sandbergs, would it be true to say the brand seems to fall into the heavy rock genre. I'm trying to play in a more sort of Jeff Berlin / Scott Devine / Jaco style ....obviously, any style can be played on any bass, but do you know what I mean?...
P Basses/Rickys fall in into this rock area whereas as say a Jazz bass is more sort of funk/ jazzy if that makes sense. Image matters!!!

MarloweDK plays Sandbergs - indeed, has his own signature model - and he definitely got da funk!
