Hello there bass people - just checking in to say hello.
Only just discovered this forum whilst hunting for some new kit.
I'll kick off with a quick gear check:
Basses are:
Modulus Flea - Custom Randy Hope-Taylor model with Lane Poor pickups, abalone inlays, custom switching etc.
Zon VB - little headless baby
Modulus Vintage Jazz
Kubicki Key Factor
Ricky 4001 - nicely gigged early '70's in black, bought on a whim because I've always thought they looked cool!
Amps cut right down to:
Original Euphonic 350w 1x10 combo plus CXL 1x12 extension cab
Trace Tube pre amp with lightweight digital power amp (bit of an odd combo but only used as a back up!)
Few bits & bobs kicking around including a Sadowsky pre-amp, Planet Waves tuner (I LOVE this!), MXR Q-Bass, ART Nightbass, Dunlop Wah.
Feels like it's time to sell/trade a few things. The Flea & the Vb are "keepers" but may well shift the rest - not that I don't like any of them, just feel like chaning things around every now & then!
The poor old Ricky has only been out of it's case once in the last year & all I did was tune it. . . . .
