    That's how it felt to me. It was fine really, until I recently picked up an SR again and realised that they are the basses for me. :)

    As I mentioned, this is a feeler :) and although the bass is nice, I do love the Ibanez SR's and always have. I'm not sure how to describe it, but they feel 'immediately' comfortable. I'm not sure about getting it set up, the string height and intonation feel fine and there isn't any fret buzz. And I realise that speed comes with practice but I know that in the back of my mind i'll always feel a bit inhibited by it.

    To be 100% honest, I got talked into buying it without playing it. I'd been without a bass for 6 months and was awaiting a new one, so when I got offered a really good deal by the shop I just took it after being told that this bass was amazing and all the rest of it.

    I know that the G&L basses have such an amazing reputation but in comparison to a few other basses, I just feel that it's not for me. :)

    Hi everyone. This is more of a feeler topic but i'm putting my G&L L-2500 Tribute up for trade! I bought it brand new at full price earlier this year and is still in perfect condition. The only sign of wear is on a few of the higher frets where there are small black spots that will come off with a good polish.

    Trade options i'm considering are pretty much anything, but must be a 5 string and am happy to add up to £100-£200 extra in cash for trading up. Ideal bass would be an Ibanez SR or a Spector, anything with a slimmer neck than this. The neck on this is certainly not chunky, but i'm looking for the slimmest I can get.

I realise that this is quite high for a 'second-hand' bass, but it is in the same condition as when I bought it, and as these retail for quite a bit more, i'm prepared to wait for someone to come along and buy it at a price that is right for me.     Just threw this up last night out of boredom and after hearing such a sweet bass line on a song I didn't think I liked! I believe a fellow bass chatter is guilty for the bass line played in the backing track too. Hopefully I do it a little bit of justice!

    For sale is my 'not-much-used' Ashdown After Eight 15w practice amp. Bought it with my first bass and have recently upgraded which makes this surplus to requirements. Amp is in great condition apart from one of the six rubber feet, which is missing (as seen in the picture). Amp sounds great and was the reason I bought it in the shop, as well as being a great name.

    The price i'm asking is [b]£50[/b] collected. As far as trades go, i'm after tuner pedals or effects.
