  1. Collection only at the moment, from Penge in SE London (or possibly Chichester) -- I just don't have the boxes and stuff to post it.

I removed the Westfield logo from the headstock, sanded it a bit and finished it with a bit of Danish oil. It's a lovely player. It has some used-ish D'Addario rounds on it (the ones with different coloured ball ends). I poked around under the pickguard, and everything seemed to be well connected. No crackling. Very good pick-ups, I have to say.

    Thanks.
  2. My problem is a lack of talent. I'm absolutely rubbish. At everything. Particularly at applying myself so I improve. Luckily I'm old enough not to care about the gaping chasm and yawning emotional abyss that I am confronted with whenever I stare into the depths of my soul and gaze upon the icy void that is my inner existene, broken and embittered, a hostage to my own failings, a disappointment even in my own mediocrity and in the banal frustrations that torment my true inner self.

    Still, mustn't grumble, eh.

  3. More photos than anyone could possibly ever want of a bass neck.

This is a no-brand, very nicely lacquered neck with a bit of mojo showing along the first few frets of the E string. Giving it character. Yes. Sexy. Mm. Mmmm-mmmm.

    Nut width: 42 mm
Nut width from middle of E groove to middle of G groove: 30 mm
    Heel width: 59/60 mm
    Weight: 1090 grams

£20 and it's yours. Collection from Penge in SE London is groovy. Postage for £4 is also groovy.

    Thanks!

  4. Blimey, that's sexy, you're thinking. And you're right. It is sexy. It's too sexy for me. But not for you. Sexy is what you're all about. You're probably in an 80s tribute band called Sexys Midnight Runners. That's how sexy you are.

Fifty sexy quid and it's yours. Sexy postage is an extra sexy tenner. Collection possible from sexy Penge in super-sexy south-east London.

    Sexy!
  5. I have just about managed it using Ctrlr, which I had looked at in the past and found too confusing to comprehend. Now I can control the synth using a VST interface within Reaper. There's just one last niggle of working out how to make the automation work, which I can do with audio tracks and with VST instruments, but this Ctrlr one might take some working out.

But generally, a success, and for free.

After that I need to work out how to map the VST parameters to my BCR2000 (or Remote SL), and I'm good to go.

Edit: that sounds confusing even to me.

Basically, it works by adding Ctrlr as a VST instrument to the midi track in Reaper, then opening a PG-300 emulator within that VST, and the parameters on it now control the parameters of the a-Juno.
Automation yet to be worked out (all the parameters in the Track/Envelope automation window just have numbers rather than names, and don't seem to be responding to anything) (but I'll work it out).
