  1. I don't know how to describe it so I can find one online.

The male end is TRS. It plugs into the mono IN of a Strymon pedal (but you open up the pedal and flick a switch to make it stereo), and you can then plug left and right cables into the female ends. If that makes sense.

You people are clever and like a challenge. Help me find one for sale online.

Edit for stupidity: "TRS stereo input adapter" is probably the way forward on this. Even so. Help a man out.
  2. I keep waiting for B-stock Strymon stuff to appear on Thomann, and I confess I had idly wondered if buying it myself and then returning it for a full refund would result in it popping up for sale a bit cheaper a few days later.

  3. Someone I know said his mum used to buy things from Ikea, assemble them, pop them in her van and take them back for a refund, go for a coffee, wait for an hour then go and buy it back in the clearance section at half price.

  4. This:

on Neil Sedaka is absolutely fantastic. The sheer delight he displays at playing the piano and writing songs, and explaining how he composes, is fascinating and joyous. I've honestly never seen anyone so happy and pleased to have the gift of music and the chance to share it. And to talk about the money side of it.

We watched it expecting it to be awful, and it made our night. His lyricist who clearly did a bit too much acid back in the hippy days is a hoot as well.

    It's quite a journey.

.... with... er... massive spoilers, if you've never seen it.

things like removing accidental stick clicks in the middle of tom fill sin a completely invisible way (hint, slice each track in the kit on either side of the click then 'slide' the click later than the right hand slice then move the edit boundaries to be equal power overlaps )[/quote]

Could you explain that again? I'm getting a glimpse of something useful, and I might be seeing what you mean, but I'm not entirely sure.
