1 unopened set of d'addario EXL170-5 nickel wound strings 45 65 80 100 130. I no longer have a 5 string these are going spare. Box is a bit crumpled but unused. They are currently sell for £21 on amazon (cheapest I've seen) so how does £17 posted (uk only) or £15 collected from Downend in Bristol sound. Payment by cash, bank transfer or paypal gift please.
Cheers steve -
Lush. Cant believe this hasnt sold. I love my marathon. Hand crafted 1976 bass for 425 is a propper bargain. Be a great 40th present as a yob bass. Glwts

That is class. Coolest bass for sale here at the moment. Glwts

Saw this on facebook. 2 in one band 1 in the other.

I use some little plastic twist locks which are really neat secure and cost about £3. Much prefer then to schallers.

My yamaha bb1100s has been with me since i was 17 and dispite loads of tinkering i cant find one i like the sound of better. The Shergold Marathon my wife got me for my 40th last year runs it a very close 2nd though.

Cant believe this is still here. I like these old arias. Glwts have a bump

How does £35 plus postage sound for the body and neck as i want to keep the pick up and kiogon loom for another project.
Origional electrics will be included but the tone pot was iffy and the wire has come off the 2 parts of the pick up. If you are handy with a soldering iron this is a bargain for a project.

I bought a squier p bass from lawrie. Easy transaction and a nice bloke to have a chat about basses with. Id happily deal with him again. Good luck with the baby! Steve

Can anyone out there recommend a good not too expensive headset mic?
The issue is that our drummer has a good, if not very loud singing voice and does some really nice bv on a couple of songs. The issue is he cant get a mic on a stand in the position he likes so bought a cheap maplins headset mic. This is fine at rehearsal but feeds back at gig volume and we can never hear him.
He is thinking of upgrading but looking for suggestions of what to get. Cheers -
Dont need, cant afford, but very tempted. Looks lovely for mim jazz money. Have a bump.glwts

Id go playabilty. Ive sold great sounding basses cos i couldn't get on with the necks (Gibson G3 and Peavey T20 spring to mind) and as much as i live the looks and tone of Rics and Tbirds i have the feel of them.
In saying that i like the feel of all my basses at the moment but my yamaha is still my go to for gigs as it sounds the best. -
Can i have 2nd dibs if it hasnt gone already. Pm on the way Thanks
