  1. A bit late with this one, but bought a GZR PJ set from Jonny a couple of months ago - he was a pleasure to deal with, very easy transaction and everything exactly as described in original packaging

  3. Sorry, it sold a little while ago, but I forgot to mark the thread as sold. I'll do it now!
  4. Now sold, pending usual... Gutted to play it for the last time last night!!
  5. A man should never be without a Charvel! Unfortunately I have to downsize though, so I'm looking to sell only sorry. Definitely open to trades on the cat though - high maintenance, temperamental, expensive to run and delicate, so ideally looking for a vintage valve amp in return... Yeah it's exactly the same model as Rex's from that era, except his was black IIRC? Beautifully low action, really fast neck, growly ballsy sound and 80s as hell!! So a perfect metal bass for those that way inclined! But equally versatile enough to have served me well across many genres. I'm starting to regret this a lot...!
  6. Ooh is that my old one? I'm sure it was a similar serial... Have to try and dig out the pics! Haven't found anything since that even comes close for rock tone IMHO and definitely a manageable weight. If only I had the cash and a more understanding Mrs...!
  7. Fear not, they are on their way once I get to a laptop
  8. Hi guys I got cold feet before, but I've decided to put this back up for sale! The same price as before - more than happy for anyone to come down and thump some low notes out with it
  9. Bump! Still have the cloth-fronted one for sale if anyone is interested?
  10. Bump! Open to some negotiation if I can get it shifted before the weekend
  11. Sorry I've been away for a while - I've sold one, but the cheaper one is still available
  12. Hi I'm unfortunately having to downsize my collection of all things bass, so the Charvel must go It's a 1986 model in blue. I would describe it as fair to good condition cosmetically, as it has a couple of marks to the body and the inevitable chip on the point of the headstock! It plays beautifully well though, and is extremely versatile tonally, with the active P/J setup. I also have it's original hard case to go with it. I'm located near Gatwick, so if anyone is able to get to me, then I can set up an amp for you to try it out, but if not I am able to ship at a very reasonable rate! I will upload some photos later today/tomorrow. Thanks

  14. No unfortunately not - I had to get rid of it, I was absolutely gutted! I've looked at a couple since as well, but they just didn't sound the same for some reason and now I'm trying to downsize... Maybe when I can justify having one just for gear porn purposes I'll get another!! I got sent a link to a courier company by a very helpful forum member I can get these cabs shipped anywhere in the UK for £17.50, if that helps anyone who is wondering how to get them to the deepest depths of Cornwall or Scotland! I can also get a reduced rate on international shipping, for those who have messaged me from Europe. If you are still interested, message me again and I'll get a rate for you. Cheers! Dom
  15. Finally got round to taking some photos of these cabs! Apologies to those that have been asking for them - I ended up being away for most of July/August. The only faults I could find with the metal grilled one are 2 small chips to the TE logo on the badge. It really is in great condition! [attachment=142502:photo 1.JPG] [attachment=142503:photo 2.JPG] [attachment=142505:photo 4.JPG] [attachment=142504:photo 3.JPG] [attachment=142506:photo 5.JPG] The cloth-fronted one also has a couple of marks to the TE badge, and about a 2 inch section of the carpet has become unglued on the rear bottom edge. It isn't torn though, so just requires re-glueing. Other than that, the only other thing I could fault about it is that the carpet is slightly bobbled and there are a couple of indentations in the carpet on the top, where an amp has sat. 17. Hi - it shouldn't be an issue getting it to Norway, I'll try and find out the rate for you The only differences between the two are cosmetic, otherwise they are identical... The metal grille one definitely looks cool though! I'll try to get some pics up over the weekend when I'm back at the studio Thanks
