4. I won this Ukulele at a battle of the bands contest, and used it for a handful of times, before realising my hands are a bit too big for it. It's a beginner's pack including a beginner's manual, a gigbag. Local pick-up preferred http://www.musicroom.com/se/id_no/01032154/details.html Thanks

7. Thanks for the kind words! I'm moving to another country around the end of the month and have too much to take with me on a plane... and that's the sole reason I'm selling them, if I could source a bag that takes them both, the sale will be withdrawn! Anyone with Mono Dual Bass bag at a reasonable price please get in touch!! Cheers
8. The condition is pretty good, 9/10 I reckon, only the the rubber on the handle is a bit worn.
9. Hi all, I'm selling my Warwick combo. It's a 30W practice combo that packs a lot of tone, On the paper it's 30W, 1x10”, but by my own measurements it's a 12" speaker and has aux input which should only appear on the BC60, and it's bigger than other BC30s I've seen. Might be an earlier production model, please point me if you know better about these amps. Looks exactly like this one: (http://www.doctorbass.net/en/producto.asp?id=1000167200&idfam=1000169920) "When Warwick decided to make small amps, they decided to start from scratch rather than follow the trend. This has resulted in a 30W combo that has a 12”speaker and a ported & tuned cabinet that is deeper than usual (13 inches), delivering a very satisfying low end for a practice amp. Other unusually nice features are the tilt-back foot at the rear of the cabinet and twin inputs for active & passive basses. The aux input allows you to plug in your CD or mp3 player, or a drum machine, and play on top of that." Due to the weight and size I'd prefer local collection, and hence the low price. If you are travelling some distance I don't mind compensating some of your travel cost. Any questions please ask! Cheers Fred

11. Thanks for all the PMs, the basses are still around. I dropped the price again for the Jazz, now £1400 posted; Warwick is £850.

15. Evening all, I'm selling one of my two beautiful basses! ****** Fender Custom Shop 60's Jazz Bass 1989 ****** An early example of the fine craftsmanship at the Fender Custom Shop USA in mint condition. The neck is stamped 6/22/89 with S. Buehl; and body is 6/29/89 with Steve Olson. It has Lake Placid Blue finish with matching headstock, all parts are original. There's a small ding near bottom strap button but barely noticeable, overall I can say it's in near perfect condition with minimal fret wear. It has a new set of DR Marcus Miller Strings (45-105) on. The neck was warped slightly when I first got it, I took it to Manson’s Exeter and Hugh had the guys doing a heat treatment to correct the warp. It is now perfectly straight and is great to play. Hugh himself quoted that he has done jobs on much more severely warped necks before and none reoccurred after his treatment. Both John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) and Matt Bellamy use Manson's instrument exclusively. The action is very low now with a great balance between body and neck. I don't have a scale to weigh it at the moment but I can say it's about or slightly lighter than an average Jazz. It feels great and sounds even better, that CLASSIC tone! Looking for [s]£1800[/s] £1400 shipped in UK more pics here: http://s1255.photobu...wick%20SSI/Jazz ****** Warwick Streamer Stage I 4 string ****** The second bass is a Warwick SS1 made in 2001, I have owned it for around 4 years and has always been my go to bass. you can see it's been well used but not abused The stock Just A Nut II has been upgraded with a synthetic JANIII. The bass was once dropped in a thin-ish gig-bag (due to my clumsiness), and the bottom strap button broke, it has then been professionally refitted at Manson’s Exeter, but the knock-off paint are still visible from the back (second pic) It has the stock MEC Pick-Ups and an 18V active/passive circuit electronics T.M. Stevens once used it during a bass clinic last year, (his signature model is merely a paintwork away) and commented, 'this s**t plays like butter, man!' Looking for [s]£999[/s] £850 shipped in UK More pics http://s1255.photobu...k%20SSI/Warwick Two beautiful basses very different from each other, please feel free to come and try them out, I'm based in Exeter. I can't decide which to sell but, ONLY ONE WILL GO Please feel free to make offers, ask me anything!

19. Hello everyone A warped spot around 7th fret is causing my Jazz bass to buzz heavily on the first few frets. At first I thought it was due to the age of the instrument but then I took it to a local luthier where the guy told me it was the Knot (or grain patterns that looked like there was a branch coming out) which is a weak-point in the neck's construction. Does this happen often? I have never seen these type of patterns on a maple neck before, if this is a Fender quality problem, will they repair or replace the neck if I'm not the original buyer? I don't want to spend an arm and a leg to buy a replacement neck... Thank you for your time.
