Strap locks were installed fine and it cracked higher up in the body. It's also a used bass. Overall I'm happy, it plays like it used to and now has a little more character

One of the Warwick strap locks I got with it failed at practice whilst I wasn't playing and it hit the floor from about waist height.. Must've hit a weak spot.

Hi Guys,

I'd just like to thank the user SlapbassSteve for reaching out to me after my Thunderbird nearly met its end.

After the incident and exchange of PM's, we met up & he repaired it.

Same, a friend has a black Tokai TB48 which has one but worse than mine. Still perfectly playable

I do think the later looks cooler, but for playability the former takes it.

Last gig we played was a charity gig, didn't really matter what we played and how long for.

So we done 50 minutes with no set list, i really enjoyed it. This came after months of gigging 30 minute sets with a strict set of songs.

First impressions are that they are incredibly similar, although I favour the bridge on the Pro more than the 3 point bridge on the Classic.

I love them both to pieces though, so it's incredibly hard to say a bad word about either

I was looking at a natural finish because i couldn't source a black one anywhere, they do look amazing though.

I finally paid out for one after about 6 months of being on the fence.

It's looks so nice and plays really well. Bought it on Basschat courtesy of PaulPirie8 for £150 including a hardcase.

Depending on if the finish is consistent under the pickguard. TAKE THE PICKGUARD OFF!

A friend has a black TB48, got it cheap after a guy tried to "relic" it. It's no longer glossed & the guy took a belt sander to the wood under the pickguard. I wasn't best pleased.
