1. http://basschat.co.u...h-new-pictures/ Gator rack has rails on both sides of the cabinet, so you can mount stuff on the backside too (useful for equalisers or power connectors). As posted in the amp and cabs section. Pictures in there too. Located in Alton, Hampshire, but can bring the drawer up to London (Waterloo/London Bridge area). Looking for £30 for the drawer, £80 for the rack case. Both in good structural condition (a few grazes on the case). I will ship either of these if wanted, at extra cost.
2. As it says, Virtualiser DSP1000P Pro for sale, very good condition, 1U rackmount Pro has balanced 1/4" jack and XLR stereo inputs and outputs on it. £50 plus delivery. I am prepared to ship this, and can quote individually. http://www.behringer...s/DSP1000P.aspx Located in Hampshire, but travel every weekday to London Bridge. Would also consider a trade for a Behringer V-Amp pro (and perhaps a bit of cash going your way).
3. Does anyone have a diagram for a trace rah600smx? I just want to check how the outputs are wired, and whether you need to use both the left and right output to get the full power. Ta.
4. I am selling my trace amp, but think I might be sticking with separates. However, I'm never going to be able to justify spending what I want to get the sound I want. So, thinking of using a behringer v-amp pro as a pre amp and having a separate power amp. Any restrictions on what sort of power amp I should be using, other than the usual power/ impedance questions? I'm trying to keep things as cheap as possible. I don't really need that much power.
5. I am shortly to be praying with my trace stack, and need to buy something smaller and probably inferior. Say an Ashdown mag combo. I want something to make my amp sound a bit better, perhaps a bit more like my trace. Will the v-amp do this? I will probably be going into a pa system too, so the v-amp pro would give a di too. Ta

9. One of their ranges killed them. I think it was the gp7sm range, was it? I need to replace my 600smx with something cheaper and quieter, but what can I downgrade to without buying rubbish? Are the smc amps any good? I have the smx compressor pedal so less bothered about it not being smx. Thoughts?

11.
I'm experimenting with a Behringer parametric equalizer and an Ashdown MiBass. I can plug it into the input, like an effects pedal, and it works fine. I can also put it in the effects loop (which is between the pre and power) and it works there too.
Cool. I'd sooner keep it away from the effects loop as I would want to have a Behringer VBass in the effects loop possibly, to try and mould the sound a bit more, try and mimic the trace sound I want, perhaps.

14. I currently have a Trace RAH600SMX amp. I love it, and I love the flexibility of the equaliser. However, realistically I have to sell it (and the cabs) and get something smaller. I would love to get a 1210SMX to replace it, but they seem to be a bit rare. If I could find one, great. If not, I have to look elsewhere. Looking at some Ashdown stuff, and look to do the business. But I like the equaliser on my trace. So... Ahsdown plus external graphic and parametric eq? But how to route it. I was originally thinking that it would go between the amp and the cabs, but then realised that its quite a lot of power I'm putting through it by taking it out after the power stage - the eq usually sits between pre and power. But I can't get it in there if I have integrated pre and power amp. So can I put the eq in before the pre-amp stage? Is the signal strong enough? HELP!!!!! Of course, the proper answer is that if I want the trace flexibility and the trace sound, get a trace combo, but what if I can't get one?

19. Loosen the strings a bit or not? Hardcase, foam inserts in the hard case. Foam around the hard case in a bike box. Thoughts? Ta
20. Trace always quote in RMS, not peak. Think you can add an extension. I would go for the Trace 15" cab if I were adding anything to that, but I played quite a lot on just the 4x10 cab. Lots of sound, cleaner than the 15" in my experience, and much better up high. I never quite got on with the single 15" cab.
