    Guys, this is my friend's bass and I had played many hours on this instrument. I'm not a fan of this type of guitars, but THIS is a SUPERB instrument. It's sounds like a GRAND PIANO. I really think about to buy this one despite the Fender-oriented habits because this bass sounds NOBLE.

    I see 4.5kg (about 10 pounds) on my bathroom scale Hardware is very very massive, knobs, bridge and thumbrest are made from brass. It's rather normal ash body weight and it resonates perfect.     Yes, it's a first active Fender bass. It has an active/passive switch. I use only passive mode.     Hello again! Not really sure but... I'll have to sell this beautiful bass. This is all original Fender Precision Bass Special from 1980. I bought it from well known forum member some time ago. It's super clean, in really good condition (in my opinion is near perfect condition - look at the pictures). Frets are polished, bass is professionally set by luthier. Original case isn't perfect (as you see at the photos) but is fully functional and it protects instrument really well. Neck is perfect (similar to jazz bass, very comfortable, also fretboard is super comfortable in my opinion). I have an original thumbrest too. Sound is excellent, just like vintage Fender Precision with ash body, you know it well ! Color is awesome, it looks better in reality than in photos. Bass is in constant use! I'm a full time musician and reliable seller (Check my feedback). I can record some sound samples if you want - just let me know. Bass will be well packed and sent with full insurance (via DHL or DPD or something <from Poland>). Feel free to ask me any question. Cheers !     Hello. Anyone tried Curtis Novak Jazz Bass JB-V? I know PB-CC, it's a very good and fat P-bass sounding pickup, great for recording. I've never heard an opinion about jazz pickups. Anyone knows anything about this?

    It's a really good piece of bass. If anyone is looking for a professional and extremely universal instrument should definitely be interested in this bass. Also Kris is a reliable person and professional bassist so there is no doubt in this transaction!
