1. I agree with the general here, send it back, it's not something you should have to put up with
2.
Hang on I'll just check on google earth for a pic of all the basses & gear I own.
I feared this might be the general populous' reply, but we shall see
3. did a quick scout and couldnt find one, but i probably missed it :s anyways, thought it would be a cool idea to get all your gear together (which i know for some of you would be rediculous and impossible) and take a snap for in here! basses, amps, pedals, you name it! ill kick it off with my little collection Jack
4. This is where I slope out and let the experts intervene
5. Kinda reminds me of a shop in Watford, a few years ago they used to have the walls filled with some pretty decent guitars and basses. Now they have one bass and about 10 guitars, all of which are pretty damn awful, apart from one ibanez, which is way overpriced. shame really, my lunch breaks used to be awesome in that place, so busy, now it's dead, I went for the first time to buy strings and found out that infact, that's pretty much all they sell..
6.
RE: armchair warrior comment - my approach was harsh and I'm sorry that I put your nose out of joint. If I may opine - the whole "fine, I won't bother then" attitude is typical of the thin skinned, slopey shouldered, bendy backboned thing going on these days as soon as anyone is presented with some opposition, and it annoyed me. In the face of a challenge do you flee or do you stand your ground and explain your position? If you don't provide any info then you open yourself up to question and speculation. Ignore it or address it, but don't give us the diva treatment. I feel like I'm repeating myself here. I do hope that you don't take the hump and continue to contribute to the forum because that's just what the forum needs, contribution not conflict.
A decent post, thanks for clearing things up, I apologise for my comments, can we all be big bassy friends again? But on a serious note, I appreciate my original post was lacking, and next time I'll make sure to be clearer on why I'm posting Jack
7.

Lol valid point, Im sorry for anyone I offended or upset in my thread, I'm bored of the select few basschat armchair warriors so I'm out
8.
Come on now let's drop it and move on. It was a bit confusing that there was no other content on the OP. I'm sure noone intended to upset you or insinuate anything derogatory was going on. Life's too short for getting peed off. Thank you for bringing an overpriced 2nd hand guitar to my attention.
Another ever so slightly amusing and immature comment. Just what this thread needs
9.
Oh, grow up. Are you honestly telling me that you're going to pick up your ball and leave the park because someone said something to you that you disagree with? That's pathetic. No-one would ride bikes if everyone gave up after they fell. You posted up a link with no explanation as to what made it noteworthy, the content was nothing unusual or of particular special interest (no slur intended, Squier fans - they're everywhere and not exactly difficult to come by) so people are bound to speculate as to what the story is. I only saw this once the auction ended, and what looks like a legitimate Squier VM Jazz going for £190 isn't particularly noteworthy or exciting. Perhaps when you posted it it was still at 99p or something. That's interesting. In any case, if you're coming back for another game then I'm looking forward to your next contribution. Hint: to avoid unpleasant speculation, include some backstory next time.
If not being willing to write a book every time I see something on eBay and think 'ooh that's a bargain, I don't want it, but someone on basschat might' is pathetic then so be it! it was simply a post to note a bass that is fairly popular and when I saw was at a good price. also it wasn't that I disagreed with it, it was the patronising 'it's your bass and we all know it' post that annoyed me, as it isnt my bass I was simply doing what I thought this part of the forum was for
10. Just a heads up, on the rc3 it says your throwing in a flight case
11.
I thought it was interesting. Maybe not as interesting to some as a fake Rickenbacker being modelled by an inbred yokel, or dare I say a blatantly counterfeit Fender (isn't this a daily occurance?) but there are folks on here who would be interested in a nice bargain bass. I don't think a week goes by that someone doesn't recommend a VM Jazz to somebody looking for a good quality budget bass. I thought the point of the eBay section was to point out eBay auctions stumbled upon that might be interesting to other people on here. Please correct me if I'm wrong and I'll get back to applying Fender decals to Encore P-Basses for your enjoyment and pleasure
My point in the OP exactly, thank you very much, however I won't bother next time!
12. Actually it's not my own, I've only just bought my VM and have no plans of selling, also my eBay account is the same name as on here, jackhammer1010, I thought this thread was for posting eBay links, no need to jump down my throat was simply a misunderstanding
13. Mine only has one output, for the one cab, that is, presuming the op has the head/cab variant and not the 100w combo
14.
Got a Warwick WCA Pro 115 400 watt cab Not GK but very good, excellent condition.
Sorry I kinda gave up on this thread! Just seen this, thanks for the offer, am looking to stick with gk however, not a fan of the mixed cabs look! Still for sale
15.
could be http://www.fender.com/en-GB/products/search.php/?partno=0326600500 With a neck swap. BUT yours has an extra screw hole in the centre for the pickguard. It doesn't have the Duncan Designed Pups either.
And also these have a huge channel under the pickguard for the wiring, so you can't use them without a pickguard!

Big muff advice

I have no problem with bottom end on my big muff, as long as the tone is rolled completely off, how is yours set?
17.
I love the way they look! But always wondered what they are actually for
I'm wondering th same thing! Haha! Ive been told they're 'supposed' to reduce single coil hum! Don't know how true that is however
18. All pretty close, white pearl screws im using are exactly the same mate! They seem to be a perfect fit IMO! Thanks for the comments!
19. All I'm saying is imagine this kid with a bass, he would tear it up, get rid of that guitar, too many thin arsed strings anyway
20. Yeah possibly a little too low on the E and G tbh, going to play around with it tomorrow get it going right! I'm surprised no ones noticed the fact that I've used the pickguard screws to fix the covers to the bass! Haha what a cowboy eh? New screws coming tomorrow though! Along with a shiny new pickguard, anyone guess a colour?
21. As far as I'm aware you can't, is it the 100watt variant?
22. Im sloowwwwly getting used to playing with them on, and it's only been a few hours, so hopefully soon enough I'll be a pro

24. Hi all! as you may know i purchased myself a squier vintage modified jazz bass, i also picked up some pickup ( ) covers and traditional bass knobs, lowered the awfully high action and gave it a nice setup, spacers underneath the knobs too as they were sitting really high up from the control plate! hope you like! also, my new pedal board is in the bottom pic, as feeble as my pedal collection may be please, comments welcome! Jack
