1. If ever you want to sell/trade the 75 RI, let me know, it might be exactly what I'm after...especially if you fancy an immaculate 2011 MIA Precision in 3 colour sunburst (again, see previous pages).
2. Bump. 300+ views and I haven't had a single offer, or even a question
3. Bump! Will consider offers not too far from the asking price...
4. For sale/trade is my Aguilar DB115 cab in silver/black. This cab is totally mint. Beautiful condition. I'm selling/trading because it's just too big for my needs. I only need a cab for the lounge and my Mrs was not-too-pleased when I brought this home! £400 or part-ex for Ashdown LB/VS cab, preferably 1x12. I'm based in Peterborough. Photos attached.
5.
No chance of a direct sale on this mate?
Hi, no sorry, I've pretty much decided to keep it unless a tempting trade comes along...
6. Blimey, this thread doesn't move very quickly, does it?! Feeler for trade: 2011 American Standard Precision. 3 colour sunburst, Tort pickguard, rosewood fingerboard. Wanted: Jazz bass A little while ago I sold my Squier Precision Special and bought the above MIA Precision. But after a month of ownership I've realised that it was the Jazz-like features of that bass that made me like it so much. I find that the bass I pick up to play is always my MIM Jazz. So I'd like to trade the Precision for an 'interesting' Jazz bass. On my wish list are the following

Definitely not black, unless it has a maple fingerboard, and even then, probably not
Probably not 3 colour sunburst (I have a MIM Jazz in this colour)
My ideal bass is a Japanese '75 in Vintage White or Natural.
I'd consider a non-Fender Jazz.
Anyone have a J and want a P? My Precision is absolutely mint. To the extent that it still has the plastic film on the pickguard (including Fender sticker) and the dustbin/CE stickers on the neck plate! It's perfect. I will take some pics if anyone is interested? Edit: pics below. Apologies for the harsh artificial light. It magnifies swirl marks that are much harder to see with the naked eye. Some fibres from the rug got on the bass too, they're not scratches!
7. Met Gareth last week to buy his Ashdown LB30. It was a perfect transaction. Based on having met him, I wouldn't hesitate to trade blind and trust his description.
8. Right, I'm looking for either an American or Japanese Fender Precision. Either light coloured body/rosewood fretboard, or I'd consider all colours with maple fretboard. Anyone fancy selling?
9. My Rickenbacker 4001 (jetglo, on previous page) is now sold.
10. Hi, I'm looking for a light or natural coloured body ideally. Or a maple fretboard. I already have a 3 colour sunburst Jazz. Thanks anyway.
11. Hi Hadge, I am in Peterborough, just off the A1.
12. *** SOLD *** I've decided to sell my 1978 Rickenbacker 4001 in JetGlo. I have two and I need to sell one in order to buy a Fender Precision. It's in very good condition, some minor dinks and chips from it's 34 year history. In particular there is some buckle rash close to the jack plate, and wear to the lacquer on the neck, where the bass would normally be held (see pics) The bass was recently setup at Rickysounds and fitted with Rotosound strings. At the same time, I bought a replacement pickguard as the original had a crack (I still have the original). I've obscured the serial number in the pictures, but will happily provide it to any potential buyer via email/pm. I believe it has been re-fretted at some point (see pics) - it shows no sign of fret wear. The bass comes with a proper Rickenbacker Deluxe left handed case - as rare as the guitars themselves and worth a good few quid by itself. The case has a crack at the corner, which I've glued to prevent it spreading. It doesn't affect the integrity of the case. The bass owes me £1700. That's the price, it's firm and I won't sell for less. If I can't achieve that, I'll keep it and think of another way to raise the cash for the p-bass! I'd consider a trade/part exchange for a P-bass - American or Japanese, please let me know what you have. Thanks for looking!
13.
Well, the one I had stolen in 2010 just sold on ebay - no doubt it will appear again!! Police and insurers informed - for all the good that did!! The insurance payout was invested in a Fender Precision.
The blue one? Have you registered it as stolen on the Rickenbacker register? They have a specific register for stolen Ricks, and if I was buying one it'd be the first place I'd look to try and check it's legitimacy.
14. yhpm Hadge.
