  1. Surely someone will recognise this one??
  2. Nope, it was supposed to be this track: Level 42 - True Believers
  3. Any further guesses on this one? All confirmed thiests considered.
  4. Nope - it's a line from a group most associated with slap bass.
  5. Nope, not Ben E King. Female vocalist (with three guys as the rest of the band, or maybe they were just impersonating a band??)
  6. An easy one to get things back on track
  7. I can't recall a song called, "Prosecco and Chocolate"???
  8. Almost - it was Hall & Oates' "Maneater"
  9. Okay time to inflict more low end nonsense upon an unsuspecting audience.
  10. Ezbass - is it Pump It Up by Elvis Costello?
  11. Yes indeedy! Here's yet another example of my low end nonsense
  12. As you might guess, I'm bored and stuck at home today - here's another time filler until Jimothey appears again.
  13. Not Macca. I'm not gonna say on here who the bass basher was, as he's a great player, and it was obviously an accident (still, it would have been nice for me to have been advised of what to expect when I opened the gig bag! Hahaha).
  14. Sounds great matey! Here's another easy one
  15. To keep things rolling along until Jimothey posts: Another easy peasy Kev effort.
  16. I've loaned out basses to friends in big bands, with no problems (Jamiroquai, Aswad, Rod Stewart, etc, etc). Nice guys, who were appreciative of the help, and who looked after the instruments. Sometimes, however, the user can be a bit "amiss" in their care of the borrowed bass. I loaned a bass to a player in a BIG group (probably as big as it's possible to get), and the bass arrived back home with dents on the back of the neck, and the nitrocellulose lacquer chipped off in a few places. Looked like it had been clumsily rested against the edge of a table top or similar on more than one occasion. I had to steam the wood dents out, and then re-finish the rear of the neck. Oh well, one of those things I guess. It's no fun when your well looked after equipment takes a beating from someone else, huh?
  17. Clue most definitely required for this one
