2. I have for sale a squire 01 affinity project, The guitar is all working but it does need TLC. It's been covered in bloody stickers by the previous owner, It doesn't look like it has faded the paint. It will need a new nut, Pickguard and strings. Like I say everything seems to work fine although it does hum a bit and it looks like the Earth wire has come off of the term claw. Some is some damage to the body shown in pics. It was a project I was going to get in to, but to be honest I can't be bothered. It will come with a squire amp 10w cable and gig bag. Would prefer pickup from exeter devon. All yours for £30 https://www.flickr.c...157652651827563 Thanks for looking
3. Hi all I have my eye on a new hard case on the forum so am offering up my thomann case. It's fits j and p basses. It's tweed with red interior, it's used so has a few scrapes but it's structurally sound. I'll get some photos up later on. £20 plus postage or you can collect it from Exeter. Thanks for looking

7. Bought some strings off Paul, super fast delivery of some very nice strings. Cheers
8. Thanks for the kind words guys The bass weight's in at 8.9 pounds or 4.04kg. Cheers
9. I've decided to move my P bass on due to lack of use and space. I'd happily put this bass up against some higher end models. The bass is in fantastic condition, The only issue is the pick guard has cracked and is missing a tiny bit by the input jack. I bought the bass recently to scratch the P bass itch, The fit and finish of the bass is spot on and the neck is very nice. No fret wear and the neck is straight and true. Finished in white with a bound and pearloid block neck. Duncan designed pickups sound fantastic, I've also added a tone pot for a bit of variety. Thanks for looking and if you have any questions give me a shout.
10. Hi all I'm looking to build a bitsa bass, there's a chap selling mighty mite necks on eBay. I just wondered what was the general opinion on them. Are they up there with fender necks or should I avoid them. If what are the alternatives? Cheers
11. Having a bit of a clear out of surplus items. First up, Fender strap. Not a lot I can say really, It's a strap made by fender. In good nick £5 plus postage Fender 15ft Coil cable, Only used a handful of times. white boxed in great condition. £8 plus postage Black thumb rest, A aftermarket part so not genuine fender (although you can't really tell) £2 posted. I'm open to offers on all. Thanks
12. The heel size is around 63mm possibly 63.5mm (I only have a ruler to measure it with). It fits fender bodies very well. It's currently mounted to my jazz bass body.
13. Hi It play's ok. I'm not a huge fan of P necks so I couldn't gel with it really. Regarding neck dive, It's certainly more evident when playing sat down without a strap. Playing with a strap it's well balanced. When I had both necks off there was quite a bit of difference in weight, The P neck being heavier. Hope this helps
14. Hi discreet I have been experimenting this afternoon with my basses, I've put a P bass neck on my jazz body. Your more than welcome to give it a try to see what you think of the combo.
15. Hi All I'm looking to trade my neck out. I have a Chris Aiken Squier P bass neck. Maple with Pearloid blocks and white binding. I'm looking for a rosewood J bass neck. Preferably a CV series neck for a straight swap. The neck is in great condition, nice and straight with good frets and no fret wear. The back of the neck has been rubbed down to a satin finish (will buff back to a shine). The neck will fit fender bodies like a glove. WHY? Trade only, I'm not looking to sell. Thanks Neck only for trade, No tuners or neck plate
16. Finally joined the club

20. Hi all I have for sale a single ply 10 hole mount anodised gold 58 Precision pick guard, I've only had it a week but have decided it's not what i'm looking for. It's been ever so slightly modified because the neck pocket and pick up surround were to small. There is also scratch right next to the pick up surround. The camera couldn't pick it up very well IMG_0253 by avsfan97, on Flickr IMG_0252 by avsfan97, on Flickr IMG_0251 by avsfan97, on Flickr £15 posted to your door. Cheers
21. Bit of an update, I've had the chance to give the bass a once over this evening. I've given it a bit of Attention and addressed a few bits. The tone pot now works, Ive given the frets a polish and put some lemon oil on the fretboard. after checking everything is working as it should (including the truss rod) it's looking a lot better. I honestly think with a new pick guard and a proper set up this bass will be spot. It's perfectly playable now. Even the strings sound nice and bright. More pics can be found here. I tried to pick up the buckle rash but it wouldn't show https://www.flickr.c...157652651827563 I'm happy to box the bass up if you sort your own courier. £50 is a steal
