1. That's my local :D

It's a shame they have downsized the bass section. When it was downstairs it was a bit better, speaking to the staff in there it seems like they don't sell many basses at all. Having said that, I bought my jazz bass from there.
The staff are a good bunch which is sometimes hard to find in music shops.

2. I have for sale a squire 01 affinity project, The guitar is all working but it does need TLC. It's been covered in bloody stickers by the previous owner, It doesn't look like it has faded the paint. It will need a new nut, Pickguard and strings. Like I say everything seems to work fine although it does hum a bit and it looks like the Earth wire has come off of the term claw.
Some is some damage to the body shown in pics. It was a project I was going to get in to, but to be honest I can't be bothered. It will come with a squire amp 10w cable and gig bag.

3. I've decided to move my P bass on due to lack of use and space. I'd happily put this bass up against some higher end models. The bass is in fantastic condition, The only issue is the pick guard has cracked and is missing a tiny bit by the input jack. I bought the bass recently to scratch the P bass itch,
The fit and finish of the bass is spot on and the neck is very nice. No fret wear and the neck is straight and true. Finished in white with a bound and pearloid block neck. Duncan designed pickups sound fantastic, I've also added a tone pot for a bit of variety.

4. Hi all
I'm looking to build a bitsa bass, there's a chap selling mighty mite necks on eBay. I just wondered what was the general opinion on them. Are they up there with fender necks or should I avoid them. If what are the alternatives?
Cheers

6. Hi
It play's ok. I'm not a huge fan of P necks so I couldn't gel with it really. Regarding neck dive, It's certainly more evident when playing sat down without a strap. Playing with a strap it's well balanced.
When I had both necks off there was quite a bit of difference in weight, The P neck being heavier.
Hope this helps

7. Hi All
I'm looking to trade my neck out. I have a Chris Aiken Squier P bass neck. Maple with Pearloid blocks and white binding. I'm looking for a rosewood J bass neck. Preferably a CV series neck for a straight swap.
The neck is in great condition, nice and straight with good frets and no fret wear. The back of the neck has been rubbed down to a satin finish (will buff back to a shine). The neck will fit fender bodies like a glove.
WHY?
Trade only, I'm not looking to sell.
Thanks

Neck only for trade, No tuners or neck plate
