Hey there, i'm currently looking into a couple of fretless basses that i'm considering buying. One is a squier VM jazz (the natural maple one) with a fretless fender neck on it, the other is a defretted MIM 5 string jazz. The 5 string is about £150 more and i'm not sure which to go for, is it worth the extra £150 for the extra string? Any money saved by buying the 4 string would go on uprgrades anyway. Anyway, any help is appreciated, cheers

Hey there, New to the forum and all I'm a 17 year old bass player from leicester, still in college and planning to go to music college next year. Though Bass isnt my first instrument (That'd be cello as of 9 years ago). Just started dabbling in double bass too, the combination of cello and bass means i've picked it up really quick. I mainly play jazz in big bands (college band, county youth big band) and some small jazz groups here and there. But i do like playing any style really, just havent had much oppurtunity to do everything, so im out looking for anything to play bass in Currently got a MIM Fender Jazz and Trace Elliot GP7 150 combo of sorts, looking to expand it to a fretless jazz and a stingray and an upright (yeah we can dream). Anyway not going to go on forever, Hello!

Hey there, for sale (or trade) is my Cherry Red Epiphone SG and 15w orange practise amp. I'm selling them as i just done use them enough (being a bass player of course) and I would rather have an acoustic. The guitar is in good condition, never gigged or anything as its been sat in my room since i got it. Only a few nicks on the body but nothing noticeable unless you get up real close. Could probably use a new set of strings as i havent changed them in the couple of years I have had it (which is how old it is, around 2 years or so). The amp is fine as well, just your standard practise amp, its orange so it wont fail on you. Also Comes with a Rok Sak padded gig bag Im looking for around £120 for both, but i will consider offers around that area. Also, i will definately consider trades for an acoustic of similar worth, because thats what i will do with the money anyway, so any such trades would be very useful. As for postage/collection, Pick ups from the leicester area would be best, but if you want it posted i will check up on costs and let you know. Cheers, Jack
