I'm really sorry to read of your experience Karlfer and hope you manage to get reimbursed by PP, or from your credit card company. I really sympathise with you mate, that's a terrible thing to have had happen.

So aside from a face to face cash transaction,which is not always possible given geographical locations, does anybody else have any suggestions for a safe and secure method of payment?

If like me you are informed that your neck on your bass is bent and its diagnosed as having a broken or worn truss rod, here's a little tip that my Luthier who looked at it shared with me. 'The nut fits on a left hand thread, and the entire rod is removable once the string nut is removed. To obtain the action required, all it needs is to be the right way way up, reinsert and tighten...voila!'

I hope this tip saves many of you with old Warwicks any heartache and unnecessary expense!
