1. PMs replied to Trade offers now welcome also (even if they're not fretless, but I have a penchant for Jazzes)
2. Hello all I offer up for sale my Musicman Stingray Bass in Honey-Burst. A couple of little dings in the paint-work, but otherwise in excellent condition. Plays really well, but I have now definitely got a Jazz thing going on and this bass alas is rarely used/gigged/rehearsed(?). The bass has a really nice finish and the grain of the wood is really prominent on the body. Looking for £650+p&p would need guidance on reputable deliverers, pick-up would be ideal though.(Price edited from £730) Any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch Many thanks Mark
3.
My custom was ordered through Darren at Bass Merchant in Colchester. You can't order direct from Sandberg. Synergy is the UK distributer and all dealers go through them. Darren was very helpful and kept me fully updated. Gave a generous discount off the RRP (I know they all do but this was a very good whack!!). The whole process from idea to product in my hands was about nine weeks, which is bloody quick for a custom finish.
Cheers for that. I'm based in Manchester and I think my nearest Sandberg dealer is PMT (previously Sound Control Salford). I'll get in touch and see wht they say. Mark
4. Has anyone got experience of a fretless Sandberg? Thinking of a either a JJ (a Jaco alike), PJ (a la Tony Franklin), or a PM. Any thoughts? Also, for people who have ordered custom models, has this been done directly with Sandberg, or through a shop? Ta very much
5. I was talking to a mate of mine today and he said Micro Music had gone out of business. I got my first bass from there, a Westfield Stingray copy. What a shame!!!
6. Hi there I find myself wanting a new bass and after being drawn towards OTPJ's new American Standard Jazz (somewhere in this forum) the one that is calling me is the fretless version of the latest batch of Fender Jazzes. I think I may have the standard 'Jazz' tone covered with my Lakland Skyline DJ4 and I really love the Jazz neck profile, so thought a foray into the world of the fretless might be an interesting and challenging new phase in my playing. My questions are: Has anyone had any experience of the new range of Fretless Jazzes? Or, does anyone know of any alternatives in a similar price range c. £800-£900? Many thanks Mark

8. Great looking bass, I'm really tempted to follow your lead with this purchase. Out of interest, how do find the Sadowsky Preamp as a DI pedal or is this question a separate thread in itself? Mark
9. Price reduction to £50 plus p&p, it's a great pedal.

11. Hello there Up for grabs is my Boomstick Bottomfeeder. This is a very funky pedal, regarded on the effects forum as one of the finest envelope filters around. I would be happy to part for it for £50 plus postage, serious offers also welcome. Cheers Mark
12. Hello all Considering trading for or buying a Fender Roscoe Beck IV. They look like interesting pieces of kit. But I would love to hear your thoughts on it as I have not had the chance to play one. I currently play a Lakland Darryl Jones Skyline 4 and EBMM Honey Burst Maple 3EQ (this is the bass I'm looking to trade if possible). Your thoughts and opinions would really help me out. Alternatively, if anyone is in the Manchester area and has one of these basses then the opportunity to try on ene would be really useful. Cheers Mark
13. The sale of the bass wah is currently on hold awaiting response to my PM. I am afraid the bottom feeder is being withdrawn due to a change of heart on my account, I couldn't bear to let the funk go completely. my apologies to those interested.
14.
Sorry for the delay in replying. The Bottom Feeder does not cut bottom end when you kick it in, it really is quite a specialist bass pedal. Hope that helps you out. Mark
A cheeky bumpage
15.
... I thought my DOD FX25B was for bass as opposed to the FX25... or does the 'B' stand for blend ?
Sorry for the delay in replying. The Bottom Feeder does not cut bottom end when you kick it in, it really is quite a specialist bass pedal. Hope that helps you out. Mark
