Maybe because of the different Pickups? I don´t know which one has which Pickups, but one is Alnico, the other one is Ceramic.

I finally know why my Acoustic Bass is a Deko... the Preamp sucks the battery out, even if it is not plugged in. So I have to remove the battery everytime I stop playing... doesn´t matter. 50€ Bass...

About the shipping duration. We have (had) a strike of the mailing company in germany. It lasted about 50 days and finished today. My guitar player still waits for his package - 3 weeks now.

2 days ago I´ve got my acoustic 4 String. It was nearly perfect. The finish has some decent scratches. The fretboard seems to be dried out. And the 11th Fret on the G String is a dead spot, but hey... for 50€ - no problem

You mean a Musicman Sterling or a Sterling by Musicman? With the Ray34 I believe a Sterling by Musicman
