1.
Gah, should pay attention to my sale threads. Really, this isn't point to point, very few amps advertised as such are, this is turret track, I think it is patented by Dave Green, a hybrid of PCB and turret, so you get pcb durability (if the PCB is done right, it is reliable, failures are usually from flexing due to inadvisable board mount sockets and such) with turret ease of maintenance. Point to point is where the components aren't mounted on a baord, but floating between points where they are connected, so the path is shortest, but you wend up with a scruffy mess that if hard to figure. Article here.
that is true, in fact fender stopped doing true point to point in 1947 and switched to a turret board type design their after, they still hand wired up to 1985, I would personally rather have a hand wired turret board over true point to point,
2. Are U able to do a T-Rex room mate circuit, an exact clone ? if so how much would U be able to do it for, they sound perfect as far as reverbs go eh
3.
are you ready to split? I can be bothered by a 4x12...
make me an offer for the head and I will keep the cab, someone else asked that too, but he has not got back to me, so if U make me an offer I will split it, not really wanting to do ebay lol had problems on their before, cheers if U need to text me about any details here is my number 07547538228
4. bump think I may stick it on ebay, could do with the extra space for something else - open to offers before ebay,
5. bump open to offers I would take cash along with a decent reverb pedal & maybe another decent pedal if it was of interest
6. I think the first to try will walk away, it really is a great sounding amp to mod if U wish to do so, PS I also have a blackface kit which I orded from america for the amp, I paid £50 for the kit, which consist of some orange drops, blue ajax sprague atoms & other bits and bobs, I had the intentions to do it but never got round to it bump
7. I am willing to travel not sure how far until I get asked, but I can be reasonably flexable
8. If anyone is interested I can do a full set of pictures tomorrow, the amp is here if anyone wants to come and try it, sounds mint, and I have a garage on my house so if U want to crank it that is ok,

12. I am selling my pride and joy as I am not gigging, it is a Handwired Silverface bassman 100 with a soundcity 4*12 cab loaded with celestions, which has the same tolex and grill cloth as the head, the cab is less than 1 year old, the bassman head tolex is scuffed and I was tempted to recover but was advised not to, anyway the head is all original, no mods ect, I have just spent £150 on brand new GT tubes which I have the receipt for (3weeks old), I will chuck in the old tubes as well, which work perfectly as well, the old ones are sovitec preamp, nos jan philips phase & ruby power tubes, not going to rime on, but only to say this head sounds amazing with guitar as guitar is what I play, it has that fender sparkle and chime and compresses when cranked, the volume knob on the bass channel has been replaced, and although it is no museum piece, but it is knocking on a bit, and as far as sound goes, I think it has blown anything away I have owned, and was the best sounding gig amp I have played, due to the nice bass it has when playing live, I think the first to try will buy, anyway if anyone is interested I will post photos tomorrow and as I said the cab is only a year old and is loaded with celestions I am in the bishop auckland area co durham I paid £650 for the amp and cab a year ago, and I have retubed it 1 month ago, mainly because I wanted the new owner to have fresh tubes as the old ones are 2 years or so old, so I am hoping to get my money back minus the tubes as I don't expect a buyer to pay for them, I would be open to offers if they are sencable and I knew this amp was going to a good home, as it really is killer tone. not much else to say, handwired fender amp, that sounds incredible I have bought a smaller amp now, so am looking for usa tele or somit yone has any trades, cash can be added, no problems their, cheers
13. did the overseas chap ever get his bassman 135 ? I have a bassman 100 which I use for guitar, what a killer head, best clean sound I have heard, it has plenty of bell chime, it is not as spanky as a twin, but it is a better kind of clean to me, plus when U do gig's it really shines, the bass on it rocks for guitar, other amp's just do not compete, lot's of people have asked me about it, some have borrowed it for studio use, one guy said he thought it sounded better than a blonde 6g6, people always rave about the blackface bassmans, sometimes I wonder if it is for resale, I know they sound nice, I do like the silverface sound better, it is more clean sounding, less harsh. It is the best amp I have had, I maybe wish I got the bassman 50 tho, only because I don't gig anymore, and garage use only, may pick one up as well soon he he

15.
PLEASE EMAIL ME AT andrewblowersbass"at"hotmail"dot"co"dot"uk". PLEASE DO NOT PM ME. I'm selling these amps as I don't use them anymore. All items are cash on collection, and I will be happy to meet within 30 miles. Please also do not ask me what my lowest price is, serious buyers/offers only, please. Fender Bassman 100. It is a 100 watt amplifier, so perfect for bass and guitar as it does not want to distort. With bass it sounds fat, plump and sweet. Same with guitar. It is currently running 2 x Harma ECC83, 1 x Harma ECC82 and 4 x Winged C 6L6GC, all bought from Watford Valves in February. The amp also has ceramic tube sockets for the 6L6GC's, and has had most caps and grid resistors upgraded. This is a gorgeous sounding head, but sadly I don't use it enough to justify keeping it. It does have a scuff or two on the tolex, but all hardware is original (as far as my tech and I can tell) and does have a patch of corrosion on the straps on top, but it is 33 years old. Looking for £550(ish) for this one. More pics available on request. Marshall VBC 4x12, designed for use with the VBA 400, or other valve heads. Also sounds great with Hybrid amps too. These speakers are bullet proof, as they are able to take full power without flinching from the VBA head I have used with this cab. It does have a scuff and a small rip on the tolex, but it is a Marshall, and is built to last. Looking for £250(ish) please. SOLD Ashdown ABM 410T. 600 watt power handling. Very good condition, owned from new in 2005. Great sounding profensional cab. All speakers and tweeter (including tweeter switch) works perfectly, as the day I bought it. I does have a scratch or two, but nothing noticable or any ripped tolex. Looking for £300(ish) please. SOLD Ashdown ABM 2x10. 300 watts power handling @8 ohms. Bought new in 2008, very good condition. One or two scratches, but nothing particularly noticable. This cab has been gigged a few times, but always carefully. Both speakers and tweeter (including tweeter switch) all work perfectly. Looking for £200(ish) please. SOLD Roland Cube 30 Bass Amplifier. Built in Reverb, Delay, Chorus, T-Wah, Flanger and Octave. Bought new in 2008, never left my house, hence mint condition. These retail for £245, and have a street price of around £209. Looking for £140(ish) please. Ampeg SVT 1x15, USA made, Early 90's (at a guess). Can be supplied with Eminence Kappa 450 watt 8 ohm speaker or Eminence Deltalite 300 watt 4 ohm NEO speaker (over £100 from Lean Business). Almost perfect condition, all tolex is intact on the cab. Looking for £250 (Kappa speaker) or £280 (Deltalite speaker) Ampeg Mini VR Stack, head is ion mint condition, cab has one scratch. Cab also has uprated drivers, pair of Celestion BN-10 300's, giving it 600 WATTS AT 4 OHMS (cost me over £150 from Lean Business). This can handle a rock gig, just not my cup of tea. Looking for £340 (stock speakers) £420 (upgraded speakers) SOLD If you want more pictures, please get in touch and I will do my best.
How much did U get for the bassman ? thinking of selling mine, or trading it for a 50 watt version, play guitar, so want the 50 watt version for my garage, 100 watts is ok, but makes sence to have 50 watt as I am not giging anymore

20. I like vintage guitars, but I never bought one, mainly because I like the 2 point bridge, which is a doddle to adjust the bridge height, and stays in tune for ever, some tune their guitars every timer they play, mine stays in tune for days at a time, even by the chromatic tuner it is reading good
