It definately seems that the Urge Mk1's are sought after so I'll get some pics together, put it up fs/ft and see what happens...
What a sneaky thread title. Someone's clued up to a bit of business psychology.

Now belongs to the select group of Basschatters' basses that I've saved to my computer.
-
I never owned it, but I'd like to find the first bass I played: an acoustic with a very tastefully painted floral pattern. It was a really interesting and individual bass, and I'd love to see it again.
-
It's interesting.
I think we normally interpret foreign words according to our pronunciation of our alphabet, and change the word accordingly. Thus Paris becomes "Pa-riss."
However, I would pronounce a 'j' in a German word as a 'y': 'jagd' becomes "yahgd," (I think).
I have no idea how or why, or even if there is any rules. It probably just ends up with cultural acceptability, like most things. -
Welcome to Basschat.
Your bass should be OK as long as the setup isn't terrible. If it's needlessly uncomfortable to play, or is littered with dead notes/intonation issues, I'd get right onto that squier P. -
Aw lubly.

I want that woofy tone that Tommy Cogbill gets on Lady Soul. I can't see myself ever getting it.

Hey Stitch. Welcome to Basschat.

I think I've been sober for almost a year now.
Although I did buy a tango book which I've yet to use. -
Gorgeous. Well worth the monies. 'specially with the birdseye.

Hey Marshall. Welcome to Basschat. Lovin' the humble gear. I've heard those Westfield Ps are great basses.
-
Sure.
I had a phase of Anais Mitchell and the like. I've still got it all on my computer if anyone wants any. -
Welcome Tom. Lovely intro. I've already enjoyed some of your posts, looking forward to hearing more from you.

+1. I was eating porridge. A mouthful is now in my nose. -
Edit: Sorry, I mean Kay. Maybe it's a Kay.

Hey, Simon. Welcome to Basschat.
Powerpop, what is that, like Aqua? -
Without trying to sound weird: I love how your home looks.
I'm confused... is it a Fender?
It's Trigger's broom again! Neck, bridge, tuners all replaced so the body and electrics are original...
Don't get me wrong it is a tasty looking instrument but the neck could be off anything and who says the body is Fender?
I think he does.
He swapped the neck for a fretless.
Who cares whether it's a Fender or not. He probably only advertises it thusly because it'll get him more views.
If I put a Fender machine head on my bass, does it become a Fender?
If I change a screw on a Fender, does it no longer become a Fender?
I don't think you can really do that, and I don't think it really matters. The resale value is what it is. -
I just ate a whole pineapple.

Lovely stuff.

+1.
I'm not normally a fan of blue without tort, but the blocks make it. -
Ahh, but potentially good value if collected.

Vision of Jazz - World Music
The program I first saw him on is on today on Mainstreet Sky 271.
He comes on about half way through. Please watch it if you can.

Things get cool when I take my mind off the bass while playing. Best results when watching TV.
