1.
Is that an added control on the front? Or an alternative knob? Or am I blind?
Hi, it's an alternative knob on the pickup pan - i may have the original knob somewhere...
2.
I love that bass! if you could post it i'd be all over it. GLWTS.
Thanks dude
3. Looking into a box as we speak so may be able to offer postage.
4. Hi, it's multi coloured glittery. Looks great.
5.
Don't feel limited to using the B string for notes below bottom E. Use it further up the neck to change the tone and reduce the amount of charging up and down the fretboard you do.
Spot on
6. I too have just made the switch to an Ibanez 5. I decided to go straight in and gig it straight away. After the first half, it felt really natural, although I think I did over use the low string a bit :-)
7. If my recently purchased SR505 is anything to go by, they are cracking basses. Mine does not have a mid switch, but I am not a fan on mids :-) In what way have you read that they are not as good? Fit and finish on mine is great. Good luck!
8. **SOLD** Ok folks - we have here the next bass that i'm selling. One careful owner (me!) Cort T34 in great condition, sounds fab, sits nicely in the band mix (used for a few rehearsals only, never gigged) Amazing factory paint finish 2 band active eq 24 frets 2 Soapbar pickups Black hardware 5 bolt neck joint No case or gigbag supplied It's a cracker, but i've moved to 5 strings now so this one has been left a little unloved in the corner (in a gigbag nice and safe though!) Collection from Bromley BR1 or meet half way within reason. Can also meet up in London EC2N during the week Free UK postage now available NO TRADES please Cheers
9. Gigged it tonight with my covers band, Sat nicely in the mix and I only overused the low B string a bit!! Very comfortable to play for 2 hours and kept tuning perfectly. Well pleased!
10. Now has a new set of Elixirs on it for tonight's gig. Looking forward to using it.
11. Thanks folks, a lovely bass
12. Picked up this lovely bit of kit from fellow basschatter Mr_Bond. Playability on these is great, and after only about 20 mins noodling last night I feel very at home Highly recommended, will get its first gig outing on Friday Cheers Graeme
13. Bump - now tuned E-C with Fodera strings!
14. New one for me - collected tonight from our very own Mr_Bond. SR505 - immaculate and plays very very nicely (even with 4 year old original Elixirs on it!) Will be gigged Friday night so hoping this will be the No.1 got to bass Cheers Graeme
15. Purchased a cracking Ibanez from Nick tonight - very nice guy and a great deal.
16. Me like. Are you around today for collection?
17. Guitar Village in Farnham have one, I may take a look at the weekend
18. Is this the one that has been at the Gallery? It's stunning, just too rich for my pocket currently.
19. I like it, hoping they will make a 5'er
20. Bump and price reduction
