I had one of these a while ago. Swapped the pickups for some DiMarzio Ultra Jazzes and it just sang. With a tiny, little bit of work these basses are brilliant.
Bit of a bargain this, the necks have a lovely, chunky P bass feel, but sound like a Jazz bass. Good do!

So you don't need a spare? Ha ha
Hopefully someone will grab it soon before ebay -

I've been watching a Telecaster he built on eBay, just went for £175ish, looked lovely. According to his website his guitars start at £650. Think he uses off the shelf bodies/necks etc and just finishes and assembles them. Made a few for Status Quo apparently!

Off the shelf? What about the necks? Are they just standard blanks or fender ones he refines or other? -
Thanks guys, one has come up but he was unsure of the body thinks its a fender jap body. Will there be a serial number on body? Thought he'd know if he built it! It looks a beauty. Don't think I can resist.

No replies then? I'm interested on this too, someone outhere must have one or knows a bit more. I have the opportunity to buy one, ate they any good, street value on custom jazzes etc.

For sale an Ibanez SRX-595 5 string active bass in black. Looks great, silver perloid edging around body and fretboard, plays well, bit of buckle rash. New strings. Selling for a friend so will answer questions as quick as I can. Possible trade for the right 4 string bass, cash either way.

God I so want this. Shame I don't have the cash lying about. These are awesome cabs, someone should be snapping it up at that price. Don't fancy a trade on a Mexican deluxe jazz?

Shut up Gareth, you're not helping lol.
Knowing my gigs I don't feel I need spend out for the higher wattage heads, I don't ever have to turn my F1up past 11 o'clock, although I know that's not a true indication of watts.
As you know I did like the Streamliner but I felt it missed something, just going by the very limited videos I feel the new Shuttle could well be the best of both.
No real GAS but quite interested none the less.
Here we go again.

Agree, I have the shuttle 6 and decided to get the streamliner because I couldn't get rid of the Gas on it. Liked it but my shuttle just has something I liked a little more so sold the streamliner within a week. Haven't listened to kens demos yet, just Ed's. Will tune in tonight. -
Yeah don't they just, apparently as expected seperate heads available and a 9.2 version. Hopefully this will meet halfway between the shuttle 6 and the streamliner with more heft available when needed.

Anyone any experience with the modfactor on bass? I have a host of pedals and was thinking about just getting this and clearing a bit of space on the board. How does manage the bass, Is there a mix control for wet and dry signal?
