1. So had Fedex shipping mail for delivery this Friday, does anybody know how the import tax thing works, or will it just be held at customs until I go and pay it? mind the tracking info says residential delivery this friday?
2. From the 70's I believe. Pearlescent white, a little buckle rash and a couple of chips on the back, front is pretty much mark free, but otherwise in remarkable order, the neck is great and ding free and is nice and slim. P and J pups passive operation. plays great and in full working order. At some stage there must have been an issue with the jack socket as someone has made a nice replacement brass plate to house it. Has "55" sticker on back of neck and the serial number 218653. Matching headstock (should have cleaned the dust and grime off sorry) SHIPS FREE [s]£195[/s] 175 pp gift or transfer. SOLD
3. Good condition, full working order, 2 knobs missing. 60 watts 12" driver. Made In USA. No rips or tears. Pat tested last week for electrical safety. £75 paypal gift or transfer. Shipping £10. 4. Invoice received! better pay up now I guess. Will post some pics of the parcel pre opening I know you guys enjoy a strip tease! I have to thank the memory of my Dad in all this and remember it was a slice of the money he left me that made this possible. She/he will be named "The Fred Bass" in his memory.
5. Its not a hum its a definite continuous fart and quite loud. The noise is with or without a bass plugged in any where.
6. Made in England this is the one with the compressor and 7 band EQ etc etc. In excellent cosmetic condition, has handle added on side (could be removed) and the amp screw grommets are missing on the top. This has been an unused spare for some time, now however, the amp powers up fine, fan runs, led lights up, but when you plug a speaker in it makes a farting noise. So been sold cheap as a project for someone in the know. I have had it out of the sleeve and there is no damage or heat marks of any kind inside in fact it looks perfect. It may be a simple fix I have no idea. So please only buy if you know which end of a soldering iron to hold. £75 shipped
7.
Have Sadowsky shipped it yet , and when do you expect to recieve it ?
Nope, still being checked by the man himself apparently, mind they havent asked for payment yet either.
8.
I like the look of this bass. Usually I don't go for plain bodies but the vintage tint makes all the difference and the tort is a perfect combination. The only thing I’d change is the fb. I'd have gone for rosewood. Is this bass chambered? Put me first in the queue when you decide to sell it!!!!
That was my biggest quandary about the board, I do like a nice bright bass, and I already have a RW boarded 4 for band work, this one is largely for my gospel band work which I do, and wont be visiting any dodgy pubs any time soon.
9.
Nice! From seeing recent prices of Fodera's and the ever rising prices of Sadowsky Metro's/Fender USA basses, I bet this was actually a pretty reasonable price. Do you have to deal with import duties? Or is it through a store?
Yup it worked out a damn site cheaper than one from GuitarGuitar
10. Dating from about 2000/01 I believe. Quilted arched high gloss top. Matching headstock. This is a Pro2 version, some i've seen just say Aria. 2 band active eq plus pup balance and volume. In great condition on the front, some light scratches on the rear. Bound body, oval markers, all gold hardware. Good solid bass, with a great active EQ, lots of zing and lots of bottom end. Ships FREE. £195. 14. Just in from Kevin at Sadowsky HQ, note they have dropped "Guitars" from the head stock it now just says NYC. Can't wait for delivery now, and i'm pleased with my colour choice and that I chose the tort guard rather than standard black one:
15.
Pics when it arrives...
But of course
16.
Ah yes, I know the one, suggested to Roger she might look better as a 7 string with just a piezo instead of any pickups and some Ibanez-style tuners on, those hipshots weren't doing it for me. Oh and it's got a perspex body on it now too... Haha, didn't see it, but I'm sure you're in for a treat when it arrives! What a lovely bunch of guys they are.
You had me going there for a moment when I first read it! you nasty person you !
17. Well shes a fiver, maple narrower neck, natural vintage body with vintage tint.
18. After 7 long months wait, Kevin has just mailed saying she is built and waiting for Roger to do a final check and ship, can't wait now, will pop some porn up soon!
