1. Outstanding bass. Has been my main instrument for gigs and studio work. Only got rid of it because I just received another stunning Daily Base from Human Base with a different wood combination and different pickups. This beast here sounds like a powerful Jazz Bass with a punchy B-string, and this one really turns heads when you get up on stage with it. Chords sound oh so sweet and the bridge pickup just sings very beautifully. It has a passive toneblend in passive mode.
2. I had a very similar model built for me by Esh. Great instruments!
3. Fantastic bass, looks even better than on the pictures, the fingerboard alone has an intriguing and deep look. Sounds clear and punchy.
4. Superb instrument. Had the chance to play this beauty last week. Sounds awesome, too!
5.
How much does it weight ?
The weight is 4,2kg. Very well balanced bass, too!
6. Could be a lot lighter but I will know for sure when I have it in my hands again.
7. I can check that in two weeks when I get to see the bass again, it's currently in the recording studio of my guitar player. I remember it is certainly not a heavy bass, not more than 9.5 lbs.
8. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=T8V_ovWniG4&feature=plcp Its a typical 60s Jazz Bass made by an accomplished and well known luthier named "Lutz Heidlindemann" in Berlin. The bass is two years old and in very good condition. Listen to the YouTube clip:
9. The bass is incredible. I had a Fodera Emperor with kingwood fretboard, a very nice wood which seems to be similar to ebony. If I had the cash I would certainly consider buying this. There are not many of these basses around and this is one of the finest AJs I have seen. Jason from Fodera said on TB that the top is hand carved by Vinny Fodera and the work on this alone takes almost as long as building a regular Fodera bass.
10. 850 for a M6 Black Bronco is almost ridicolous. I have the same amp. It is an amazing piece of equipment.
11. http://www.luk-guitars.de/Baesse/details/model-j Someone asked about infos about the model and the luthier .
