All Original except for the CTS Pots and Stainless Steel fret wire Bit more info..... Attilla Ballough died in 1984 - tragic accident in the workshop late one night. He liked a little drink, and on returning to the workshop one night after a session, tripped and grabbed a sanding machine.....which fell on him , across his wind pipe, and choked him to death ( Info supplied by Ken Linderman, partner in the Canadian company at the time.) Also Ken informed me that the Bass looks from pic`s I sent him, fitted out as it left the workshop, Pete
Hi Pete, Definitely interested! Been looking at some demos/sound clips and it sounds fantastic, but everything I can find is guitar. How does it do with bass? Anyone else using one of these with bass? Cheers!
Hi, I was using it with my fretless ( now sadly gone ) and it was great ! One of the big things with it is that it has just the one control,,,,,,,,,,simple ! Being that you live in Leamington, I live in Cov, we could meet up on A46, swap, and try each others out for a week or so ? Not tonight though, I`m in Brum . How does that grab you ? Pete
Okay, i know this is a fast turnaround even for me, but i bought it as an 'always on' pedal to warm up my tone with a bit of valve action, but i think i actually prefer my Mark Bass head clean, so thinking of trading this one for something else. Lovely little USA pedal, designed by Butler, who also made the Tube Driver of David Gilmour Fame. This pedal has a very similar design too. No low end loss at all, sounds very nice at low gain, bit too harsh with gain cranked for me. To be honest if i put a 12AU7 in this instead of the 12AX7 i would probably prefer it, but not sure if i can be bothered! Very quiet for a valve pedal, providing you have decent shielded cables. Has had its foot switch replaced at some point. In great condition and even comes with the original instructions and warranty card Only bought from ahpook last week, sure he wont mind me stealing his photo: Trade only for now, if i ask for cash it will just be spend on beer and curry so id rather see if anyone has anything to trade! May end up keeping it and giving it a new valve if nothing interesting comes along...
Hi Is it still available ? Pete
