1. Hey guys 'n gals, I have had my rickenbacker new since the start of this month. When I first got it I noticed the saddle of the D string was buzzing so I sent the bass off for setting up and got that sorted. Now the G string saddle has developed this buzzing thing. Any ideas as to why its happening? The actual saddle rocks left and right slightly and buzzes when I play. Any advice would be smashing. Cheers!

But as you already have a good bass that gives you a sound you love then I'd probably blow the money on a couple of weeks in the Carribean or similar. It seems a bit unimaginative to just buy another bass.
Hahaha, Would rather spend the money on something that will last Think im going to go for the ricky! I can't get enough of the the way my jazz sounds but the rickys looks are to die for. I should be getting my hands on a fireglo 06 one fingers crossed!
 3. Cheers guy! Im certainly going to a look at second hand basses! Guess I ill be looking away from jazz's then
 4. Sorry if this comes up a lot but Im really after some people opinions and advice. Its coming up to my birthday and I have been lucky enough to be give a budget of at most £1500 to spend on a serious bass. Iv been to a few shops and tried out a fair few that I have had my eye on. I currently own a Fender japan jazz bass with a hip shot trem and schaller tuners. I tired out a few jazz bass's in the shop. I just can't get enough of the sound and tone. Then I tired a Rickenbacker 4003 they look amazing and have such a distinctive tone that I also love. Also tired a Lakland 55-02 that sounded all right, nice tones and a wide range. Now here is my dilemma, Rickenbacker or another jazz bass? I did start to look in to a nice 5 stringer but Im not sure if thats my thing. Any body go any suggestions? Cheers guys and gals
 5. I have been using these cabs for about 3 years. they have been gigged 10-20 times just clubs and a few small festivals. They have not been pushed and the clarity still remains like they are new. These Cabs are great for the price and they hold up well. When used together you can get a nice punchy sound. Each cab is for sale individually although I may sell the pair together too. I may also be looking to sell the ashdown evo, line 6 pod and the Wireless in the rack mount case if the right price is offered. Here are the specs for the cabs: ULTRABASS BB115 £150 High-Performance 600-Watt Bass Cabinet with an Original 15'' BUGERA Speaker and 1'' Horn Driver Reinforced chamber, front-ported bass cabinet for 600 Watts of power handling Original BUGERA speaker with special high-impact cone Powerful and punchy bass tone Switchable 1" custom-made horn tweeter for high-end punch Unique tweeter remote control via footswitch or BEHRINGER MIDI FOOT CONTROLLER FCB1010 (controller not included) Input and link outputs on ¼” TS and professional speaker connectors (compatible with Neutrik Speakon connectors) with an impedance of 8 Ohms Recessed carrying handles and integrated rollers for easy transportation Shock-proof metal grille, protective corners and rugged carpet covering High-quality components and exceptionally rugged construction ensure long life Conceived and designed by BEHRINGER Germany ULTRABASS BB210 £150 High-Performance 600-Watt Bass Cabinet with Original 2 x 10'' BUGERA Speakers and 1'' Horn Driver Reinforced chamber, front-ported bass cabinet for 600 Watts of power handling Original BUGERA speakers with special high-impact cones Powerful and punchy bass tone Switchable 1" custom-made horn tweeter for high-end punch Unique tweeter remote control via footswitch or BEHRINGER MIDI FOOT CONTROLLER FCB1010 (controller not included) Input and link outputs on ¼” TS and professional speaker connectors (compatible with Neutrik Speakon connectors) with an impedance of 8 Ohms Recessed carrying handles and integrated rollers for easy transportation Shock-proof metal grille, reinforced corners and rugged carpet covering High-quality components and exceptionally rugged construction ensure long life Conceived and designed by BEHRINGER Germany Im looking for £150 per cab but Im open to offers. 11. Its time I sold all of this gear. The reason for sale? I just never use it enough to justify keeping it and needing the dosh for a lakland 55-02 deluxe. This is a great Pa system. I've used it for a fair few gigs and its honestly never let me down. The sound has brilliant clarity with seriously deep lows, a full midrange and a punchy top end. Never had any distortion at any volume levels. This things does village halls very well. I used this with my rock/alternative band and my funk band with outstanding results. The desk, well its a yamaha MG16 what more could you ask for? easy to use and give great results. I have this set up my way, everything is colour coded so i know what goes where. I have recently moved one of the amplifiers from the rack with the mixing desk to the rack with the cross over. I did this because whith the old set up i could not have the mixing desk too far from the stage. Now. I am using the return xlr's on the sound snake to go desk-crossover-amps. The using this configuration the fold back speakers will require some xlr's to jack adaptors as they connect via jack leads. All leads needed to connect the speakers+desk are included. This will also include a few spare xlr leads. The PA also come with a set of microphones see link I also have two sure microphones that I can include for a decided price. There are some speaker stands if you wish to just use two speakers. I normally stack them each side. The speakers and kit are in good condition, no major tears in the covers and no dents on the grills. Everything thats rack mounted has a little rash from being mounted. The top two units that are rack mounted need two more screws for each corner. flight cases are included along with the box's of cables and sound snake. Please bare with me as Im no pro with sound engineering, go easy! Im based in west sussex. Collection is a must! Here is a Gear run down.
