Creme - with a big dink on the body
Currently at £300, 2.5days to go

    I'm watching this aswell:)

Loving the maple board and I'll bet those humbuckers are MASSIVE sounding if the pm4 is anything to go by!!!

  2.
Thanks for the comments guys. It is indeed a great bass and Dave is a top bloke to deal with.

The decal hasn't been lacquered over, so I suspect you'd be able to remove it without sanding, I'm no expert though. There'll be a thread on here somewhere that explains how. I think the new decal is a waterslide transfer, so it shouldn't be too difficult to apply (Famous last words...!)

I'll have a look in the morning.
I can verify the above :) I had just put the decal on the headstock when Stu aquired it. Should come off with a good soaking and the surface is already perfect for applying the new decal.

It really is the camels doohdah!!

  3.
Evening all,

Up for sale is my Fecker Jizz "bitsa" bass, which I swopped last year from Davetbass. I don't really want to sell it, however I'd like to get the twisted neck on my Musicman sorted, so it's up for sale to fund that.

It has a Mighty Mite maple/maple neck and the frets have been dressed so it plays really well and is lovely and slim. The origin of the body is unknown. It has EMG active pickups and wiring with traditional jazz controls and really nails the classic Jazz sound. It also has black hardware with Badass 11 bridge and Wilkinson tuners. Currently strung with Ernie ball slinky's.

It's in Olympic white and I've added a tort scratchplate, however the original brass anodised one will be included. I'll also include a "Fender Jazz Bass" made in U.S.A. decal, which I never got round to fitting.

The body and neck have a few marks here and there, but generally good.

    Any questions, please ask.

I can vouch for this guitar and Stu who is a great guy to deal with. Bought as a project on this forum and lovingly coaxed into a really powerful bass. Finishing touches were made by a local luthier who profiled the frets and set the whole thing up. That alone cost 120 quid so a bargain to be had!!

    Cheers Stu

  4. Just sold Stuart a Washburn Status. After a small hiccup with postage (express 48 took 5 days!!) the bass arrived safely.

Great guy and paid right away. Easy deal!

    Thanks again Max! :)

  5. Just bought a Levinson Blade (yes the sanded one :) ) from Bob. Great guy and a very fair price. He also owns the nicest Overwater I have ever seen or will likely to in my life!!

Lovely to meet you Bob and thanks again!!

  6.
Selling as one unit here so pick up only I think this would make someone a good 'rough pub/club' gig set up or even a starter for someone(?)

Here is a nice Levinson Blade B3 with serious cosmetic issues but otherwise is fine - I got this off TheBeeps last year - and while it is a fine bass it is extremely heavy at 14lbs and sustains forever! The problem in question is not visible from the front as u can see :) this was done by neither me nor Alex but you know who u are!
Sims quoted £400 to refinish it but nuts to that!!!

It has an ebony board, ash body, hardware was gold coloured at some point, big reverse tuners, the old headstock shape before Fender made 'em change it. Actives with a Pre-shape switch for the 5 trim pots inside - Hi, Lo, Mid and 2 levels.
controls are vol, balance and tone. comes with new Warwick Rockcase

Also an old Peavey Databass combo from my gigging days 450w of digital power!!! This must be the best part of 15yrs old but seems to still work fine even if the pots and eq could do with a clean (one slider cap missing) and it is rather tatty.
It hasn't fired a shot in anger outside my house in about 5 yrs and I use it primarily to annoy the neighbours.
This combo weighs in at a hefty 78Lbs with the one single stupid handle!!

    So no weaklings please!

Also thrown in is the big ADL leather strap (u will need it!) and the Hercules stand.

    £400 all in

    Cheers BB
I'll take the Blade....PM'd

  7. I think this guy had an original mid 60's Jazz for sale a couple of years ago for about £20 000 . It had the same grandiose description (had to open the door to let the pish out!) and attitude. When I emailed him with what I thought was a reasonable offer he called me a "douchebag" and told me that my offer wouldn't buy the air around this bass. Mailed him back informing him that as I'm Scottish I had no idea what a douchebag was so his insult was pointless. Offered some local insults for him to try on back and finished with a $20 dollar offer for the "bass air"!!

    Dickhead!!
