1. ART SGE guitar effects rack for sale. Good condition with manual. Everything works and the sounds are useable. Bought this to mess around with at home but not really had much time to use it. £80 + p&p

  2. For sale my Sandberg Basic 4 in Greenburst. Bought for an originals project that fell through I m moving it on to fund another purchase. I'm a big fan of Sandbergs and have been using a PM4 fo the last 2 years. It's my main gigging bass and I'm never selling it :) Handmade in Germany these basses are highly praised by most (theyre not everyones cup o tea) and there are a few threads on BC about them. More info on specs can be found at www.sandberg-guitars.de. The finish is a natural wood stained finish thats designed to wear over time so theyll look road worn (or something?) Glockenlang 2 band eq makes it a very versatile bass and I've never struggled to find a sound I wanted out of it. Used it in a few different gigging situations from soul to heavy rock and it's sounded great. Low action and strung with ernie balls these retail around £1000 so I'm asking a reasonable £450 posted..

    Thanks for looking :)

Hello. I have a set neck ESP ltd viper for trade as I could do with a 5 string or a fretless. This model has all the quality hardware like active emg's and grover tuners. It also has the flag inlays that are found on the more expensive models. There's a ding about the size of a five p next to the tone control and a few other little dents so it's not pristine but I'd say the overall condition is good (all inflicted by previous owner) The pup switch works but also goes side to side aswell as up and down so could do with replacing. Not a big job :) Made of mahogany it's a burgundy/ maroon translucent finish. Will get pics up when home from work.

    Thanks,

    Dave

edit: for rubbish pics but you get the idea!! :0

    Sold on the bay thanks

  4. Thanks for all the kind words gents. This is my second attempt at a fenderbird. The first one had a reverse headstock and I wasn't happy with the way it sat or the Bart stingray pup. Got a photo somewhere. The body was templated from an overwater c bass and the neck courtesy of waynepunkdude modified to look a bit more thunderbirdy :) no build diary as it has been about a year doing bits and pieces to it. The back pup is a dummy. Had two humbuckers in but didn't like them so went with active pbass mec. Filled the space with a highly polished piece of black granite. Handy to sit your thumb on for a different tone.

Started with a piece of tree that hung in the the forrestry dept of Edinburgh uni for 70 years. The other bits have been scavenged from you lovely people :

  6.
I've noticed twice now that when i change strings on a bass that the E string sounds dead and flat compared to other strings. Almost as if its being muted.

Yes i strung it the same way as the others strings.

No theres no foam of any sort on the basses.

Could it be the intonation or something???

    Any ideas whats up???

    Thanks

    Alex :)
I'm guessing but the bass might have had a heavier gauge on at some point and it's maybe worn away the nut enough for it to not seat the string properly. I've got a pbass copy with a brass nut that does the same.

    Just a suggestion :)

  8.
Veery pretty :)

I have one like it but white, I can vouch for the great sound those make and also that they're a bit heavy :)

The neck is also sublime and the ebony fingerboard of good quality.

Are you sure it's white and not just snow and ice?

Bump for edit... 4 or 5 string trades for the Blade.

  9. For sale a Levinson Blade b4 in violet burst. It looks black in most lights but the violet shows in natural light. Active with tunable high/low/mid trim pots for the tone circuit and 2 levels. It's had the frets levelled and set up with ernie ball standard guage strings. The front of the bass is in great condition for it's age (1991) but the back has damage to the finish by a previous owner who has sanded it (see pic). Bought this for a band that never got going and it's gathering dust now. It's not light (about 14lbs) but it plays well and sounds how you'd expect a super jazz to sound.

SOLD+ postage (Less than what I paid on here)

    Thanks for looking...
