Thats a very nice bass. Do you like trades? Musicman Sterling? Thank you Ally
thanks for all the brilliant offers so I guess I should give you all a heads up on what I'm up for. This sale is extremely reluctant - it really is a great bass and it's my only 'P, but really I'm a JB man, although some gigs just cry out for a 'P' - IMO The motive behind this is, as always is money. Fact is, I'm unable to trade up, and although I'd prefer to sell, I'm willing to trade down. I'm really a Fender player so really will always prefer that style of bass Fender or not. I'll consider other stuff other than bass guitars as trade possibilities too. amps? speakers? combos? apple comps....etc etc hope this helps - there's no rush - I like this bass!
Hi Shonks...Do you know if this would fit on my USA 62 Re issue jazz which has reverse tuners...Cheers John
this is what Hipshot say: "Drop tune your pre-CBS Fender equipped with reverse winding Kluson tuning machines. Fits 11/16 headstock holes. Installation instructions and mounting hardware included" So if you have a reissue of a pre CBS bass, then this is the right one! here's a pic i nicked from the web - as my pix are so crap

here's its pink sister: this is a genuine USA Fender 5 with Marcus Miller John East deluxe preamp - stock p'ups and Badass Bridge. I drilled thru the bridge to keep the string thru option and moved the B string thru hole to make it longer - see pix. Sort of looks like a botch but works really well. Made and added a brass nut. Put in a battery box and put the jack on a plate and mounted it on the bottom edge, a bit like the deluxe Fenders. Painted and wrecked the finish myself too, otherwise its standard....lol

well, what can I say about this guy?....he sold me this brilliant Boss VE-20 vocal stomp box, for a really cheap price, then posted very well wrapped and it literally showed up in less than 24 hours . The machine looked brand new, in its original box with all the accompanying literature. Even had sealed alkaline batteries in the box. I plugged it in and it worked perfectly. Absolutely can't fault the machine, or the man!! but.... i still can't sing, and now I've this box I'm gonna unleash my crappy vocals on the unsuspecting public at large. I think its all Scooby's fault , so although I can highly recommend dealing with him, beware, he doesn't care if you have any talent or not, he'll still do you a great deal and get the item to you safely and quickly without care for the great unwashed out there who have to put up with our crap....you've been warned!!
That's very interesting. It's got proper tuners and the rear pickup is in the 70s position. Nice inlay too. There's been some dodgy 70s Fender clones on this forum but this looks like the real deal. Good luck with the sale.
thanks! - whoever comes to check it out will be mightily impressed I guarantee!!
