Picked this up with a jazz I purchased. Planned to fit it in one of my basses but have never got around to it. And I’m quite sure I would pay to get it fitted and change my mind after a week as I’m really just a passive jazz type player. This means it’s not tested by myself so I don’t know if it works. Ideally like to sell it to someone who can fit and test it themselves, and is comfortable doing so. I did plan on fitting it and have purchased some extra battery terminals which I’ll include in the sale. if it doesn’t work properly then I will pay to have it posted back and refund you right away.

price dropped. 750 This one a good example of one of the first early runs of the Geddy Lee Jazz, before they were part of the artist line. These are pretty rare now. Seen them sell for silly money. These have the limited edition neck plate and real blocks. (And maybe an even thinner neck, to replicate Geddy’s original 70’s jazz he shaved down). The neck is impossibly thin. sounds like a 70s jazz. A very different flavour due to the pickup placement. Cuts through a mix more. A more obnoxious jazz sound. Good for maybe things! Upgrades: CTS Pots Switchcraft jack USA control knobs Dimarzio Ultra jazz Noiseless Hipshot Tuners *optional John East pre amp j retro Was fitted before but removed and converted to passive… cavity was too small so battery box has been routed with a door. If you’re interested in the East Pre let me know and we can work something out. It’s not been used in a long time so not sure how it’s doing… overall really nice shape for a 25 year old. I’ll try and get a weight later on bathroom scales won’t be accurate but a good idea…. But it’s not heavy. Postage is possible Comes with a 80s 90s era fender case.

Not good for the money just properly good. String with Ernie ball group 3 flats, nicely settled in and thumpy. I don't want to sell this because its incredible but you can see I have no space on the 10 rack... and she's actually getting annoyed with how many basses I have - so ill use the money to buy a pedal because I can hide that in a draw or something. Picked this up to practise Fret bevelling and levelling - turned out the frets were perfectly seated and level and didn't need it (which weirdly disappointed me because I was looking forward to doing that). I used a Chris Alsop Tools bevel file 45 degree angle - to make the edges ultra smooth. (which I did to all of my basses subsequently). it just means that the fret edges are nearly invisible feeling when navigating the neck. Same treatment as the 00's music man instruments and some vintage fenders. IYKYK!!! Specs are online. The neck feels like the 70s fat one... Ive added a bass wood full contact shim in the neck pocket - don't be afraid - that's just so you can slam the action if you like... the goth saddles are a bit larder than the usual fender size. I have the Gotoh tuner cap... ill pop it back on thanks! Rob collection in Edinburgh

Also on eBay but cheaper here for BC people. AIAIAI TMA-2 Studio Wireless+ Used for a year - is great condition only used in home studio. These are wireless low latency headphones for studio use. Comes with the transmitter which you connect to your source which is also battery powered. If you're experiencing a clipping sound on your TMA-2 Studio Wireless+ headphones, follow these steps to resolve the issue: The X01 transmitter can handle a maximum input of 3.5V(peak). Exceeding this limit will cause the signal to distort and result in clipping. So be careful as the clipping noise can be quite loud. If you want to use these at really high volumes use with the cable. I never had an issue with them for studio use. But I wanted to let you know ! Cheers!

I also just got a few sets of these exact strings. normally use elixir nickel light or super light. found them to be quite expressive and responsive due to the round core (I think) compared to the elixirs using them on a p bass + and a jazz if the different kind of coating works almost as good as the elixirs I may be a convert - but will have to live with a bit to see how long it takes for them to die. they’re on Amazon for £26 which is pretty cheap which gave me the nudge to try them - I just hope they stay that price ha!

Quite rare and special Jazz bass. i'm not using it enough to justify its value and rarity. Meticulous fret level job done by Chris McIntyre (Sie bass, etc) so the action can be insanely low if you want... I got him to also bevel the ends of the frets so the fingerboard feels 'invisible' which is important considering the tall vintage frets are normally a bit bumpy on the treble side. Has a small body notch so you can adjust the vintage style truss rod WITHOUT removing the neck! Just taking off the scratch plate. Comes with original Mint condition tweed fender hard case with the commemorative fender anniversary embroidery + All the case candy and certificates etc, and covers. Currently fitted with Babicz bridge - will be sold with just the original - can leave it on for an extra charge. It's not needed to be a good instrument but I really enjoy how easy it is to adjust and stay put This has never left the house. And is almost mint! It is NITRO lacquer!!! so... there's a few small mini dings shown in pictures this is just from studio use, it is a very fragile finish; minor checking on headstock near the machine head, won't show in photos and only visible with reading glasses on lol but want to be transparent. it can either be a case queen for ever or someone please give a good hard life and get some mojo! . no gigs. not even a rehearsal. So this bass is pretty much new still, it's not really lived yet. Studio use only. Will hold and climb in value. Sounds a lot different to my STD jazz USA which i'm sure is down to the pickups, its has a much higher dynamic range (that's not good nor bad) a bit more of a sweeter fat low end, moderate mids and glassy highs when both PUs on. Bridge is very... Jaco. Neck PU solo'd - is my fave. Very good recording tone. ***Ill find out the exact wight but I think its around 4.2kg*** Edinburgh Potential trades: value of £1500 aprox. Modern Jazz style, Steamers, maybe Specter... modern 4 string basses with flat necks etc.

Great condition for age, trans red 3eq stingray in maple. Clean electronics, clean straight neck with responsive truss rod. Lovely smooth fret ends and oil finish neck... usual stingray stuff. Comes with the original hard shell case. Apart from some small dings shown in photos - it's in amazing shape. New black pick guard screws and official MusicMan pickup screws fitted, looks cleaner. Old ones included. looks to me like a two piece body - with the join happening on the lower horn. The grain in the middle looks lovely under the finish. Weight is 4.7kg with no neck dive. Very much has a resonant peak around E, so a great slapper... (im a Stingray nerd and had many; and this did jump out to me) Sensible offers considered; nothing outrageous though haha, no rush to sell. Selling for 20% lower than paid for - as that was from a shop. Potential trades: Bongo, nice USA sterling with sensible finish, nice Warwick (equivalent value or higher) or potentially something modern. 4 string. I can provide extra cash if needed.
