1. For sale, my Barefaced Two 10, 4 ohms or 12 ohms - at the moment it is wired for 4 ohms but I will include the 12 ohm wiring loom, crossover and rear panel so you can have your cake and eat it.

    Condition is good. See pics.

It comes with a Roqsolid cover.

I am in Cornwall in the week and Devon at weekends if you want to collect.

    SOLD

  2. For sale or trade, Barefaced Two 10 cab. Vintage cloth grill. 12 ohms.

The Retro Two10 - the best old school sounding small cab ever?

Everyone knows what this is. I have two of these cabs. I can gig with just one cab and fancy trying something else out.

One has suffered with the peeling tolex, one has not. I am selling the good cab that has not suffered with lifting tolex. Good condition all round. Comes with a Roqsolid cover.

    Bergantino

    Try me.

I am in Cornwall but travel a little so could meet up to trade. I have gigs in that there London at the end of November.

  3. I work for a log cabin/garden building company in the south west.
Twin skin cabins are great if you want an insulated building. They can be a fair bit more expensive because of the extra timber and insulation material.
If you are on a tight budget, the more you can do yourself the greater the saving can be. I will happily answer any questions. 😎

  4. I will probably regret this but I need to raise some funds.

For sale, Ampeg SVT-VR all valve 300w head.

You all know what this is. This particular one is in excellent condition. It has hardly been gigged.

The previous owner had it all re-valved. I have gigged it twice in my ownership. This from the previous owner:

The amp is in excellent condition, with the print and tolex being pretty much spotless. No real signs of wear at all. The amp is only a year or so old - the guy I bought it from only used it from time to time for rehearsals, and I have only done a handful of shows with it this year. Preamp section has just been revalved with JJ AX7's and AU7's and it's sounding fantastic. The bloke I bought it from spent a fortune on NOS valves for the preamp - some of these went microphonic (hence the new preamp valves), but I will include the good ones for you to have and play around with. It's quite easy to slide the preamp out and swap out valves and can change the sound of the amp a fair bit.

Poweramp section was revalved about 6 months ago with these - https://www.watfordv...ail.asp?id=3720

Cost an absolute bloody fortune but they really are top quality valves, have plenty of life left in them and sound incredible.

Also included in a soft slip on case for the amp

Let me know if you have any more questions. The amp works perfectly and just sounds incredible. Probably the best sounding amp I have used live. Just bags of valve warmth, really flexible EQ that ranges from old school thump to modern slap tones and absolutely loads of headroom.

I do not want to post it for obvious reasons.
I will help as much as possible to get it to a new owner. I am regularly in Devon and Dorset. I also have gigs coming up in London in November.

Trades: Nice amp heads considered with cash my way

Here is some blurb from Ampeg:

Tubes, tubes, and more tubes! The new Ampeg SVT-VR is a vintage reissue of an early 1970s “Blue-Line” SVT head. The preamp stage, power section, and even rocker switches emulate the exact signal path, tone, and vibe of the original rock ’n’ roll workhorse. Authentic from its input jack all the way to its six 6550 output tubes, the SVT-VR is a must-have for rockers seeking that in-your-face Ampeg bass tone.
