3.
Here's my lump...

    EBS TD 650
    EBS Pro Line 2000 4X10 & 2X12

The bass is my Sandberg Basic 4
And the combo my Ashdown five fifteen
Is that sandberg being held on the wall by string??

  4.
though you need to consider whether venues have Entertainment licences etc, or whether you apply for a temporary one (covering IIRC up to 500 people) etc. All perfectly possible though.
thats why i thought it mite have been a crap idea lol

  5.
Asking a band to get 20 people and contribute financially is fine for the londoners (if it were to be in london) but what about us lowly northern mortals?

I know we'd certainly be up for playing a reasonably well attended gig in London, and would Myspace the living hell out of it, but its a long way away and getting a crowd there just isn't practical.
6.
I like the whole weekend idea - maybe Friday evening start though?
Maybe booking out a pub with a field so we can camp... With all the different equipment people own on here im sure we could get together a bit of a marquee and stage/lights etc....

This may sound a bit of a crap idea...but its just an idea

  7. I was just watching some Kings Of Leon vids and started thinking about how no matter what stages i go through... likeing different bands/styles i will always end up coming back to them.

So as im bored and have nothing better to do i thought id ask everyone who there all time favourite band is that they always come back to????

O n make it related to bass... who is the bassist?

Me = Kings of Leon - Jared Followill(also my favourite bassist/biggest influence...)

since my dad bought me my HB music man iv decided the bass i used to dislike(alot) is now on my gas list... A music man SUB in black!....or an EB but a sub is more realistic!!!

  9.
I've got the Vintage copy of the MM and it weighs a ton...feels like a man's guitar unlike the Yamaha which is very light by comparison.
mine is light...it is a bout the same weight as my jazz

  10. Just bought a HB music man...its fantastic.

dont know about this exact bass but when i posted a thread about HB i got great reviews...
