1.
so thers no grey label multicomp??

all the current series are black label
yeah that's what I was blathering on about :)

i've just had a big muff modded and a fully custom fuzz ordered. I'm trying to make funds available to buy this pedal off you, but I doubt it will be before I get next paid which is on the 21st.

  2.
i play in a duo believe it or not, with a very loud drummer!he plays a roland SPD 20? i think, all thru a turbosound PA.it can get pretty loud at times and even tho i D.I. through the PA i still have a pretty powerfull backline sound from the ip310.its usually on about half and its loud without even beginning to break sweat!!
hmmm... and what sort of genres do you cover?

  3.
Thanks for the thought, but I (obviously incorrectly) assumed because of the long delay since first expressing the intention to sell, that nobody else had taken it. I did not realise that there was a queue waiting (I got a couple of pm's advising me so!) until you decided whether or not you you were going to finally sell.

I'm pleased my interest has prompted/reawakened previous interest to escalate.

Because I need to source one pretty quickly, I'll look elsewhere. Thanks anyway.
Yes i'm getting to the stage where i'll have to withdrawl interest as well :)

  4. So i'm talking a light (circa 50 lbs) 1x12" or 2x10" sized cab by people like:

    EBS
    Bergantino
    Aguilar
    LDS
    Schroeder
    Ashdown ABM
    Genz Benz NEO
    ...etc

I like alot of lows and highs, I want something small and can handle alot of juice from a Markbass SD800.

I'm leaning toward these: Schroeder 1212L, Epifani UL-112 or Genz Benz NEOX112T, but I would have to import from the US. I can get a 2nd hand Aggy DB210, Ashdown ABM 210T or an EBS 2x10 proline in the UK, atm.

I like a mid scooped sound, so a cab which has hyped highs and lows is the ticket :)

  5. Well i'm in no rush to sell or trade, so if you want to try and get the cash together, what sort of time frame are we talking, since i've got alot of trade interest... but not alot of buy the bugger outright (which is what i'd prefer).

Mean-while, a pic of that kickback area would be good in helping me decide?

  6.
Good luck Kit. What are you selling it for and how come you don't like the sound?
    Steve.
Like I say, i'm not using it for what it was designed for.

The sound is awesome, but for my tastes it only does three things very well, indie, rock and metal. I suppose it would do blues very well, but i've never used it in that context.

I'm now looking for a far more clean and synthetic sound, currently very interested in getting a MarkBass SD800.

  7.
I agree that locking this thread (for now anyway) would seem a good idea. Tensions are always gonna be higher when we're all tired and grumpy, and it may be best to sleep things off until the morning. It'd be a shame if anyone said anything that they'd regret later.

How about we all just sit down with a bucket o' houmous, and settle this later?
yeah...

    ...pistols at dawn!

    :)

  8. It's a real shame that i've just bought a Warwick Jazzman LX5 and i'm currently trying to get hold of Stes Bongo, because that is the exact spec '75 I want, good luck with the sale.

  9.
might be best to lock this thread, it sounds like it could well be continious argueing, and thats good for noone in this case
I agree, it was productive when we were talking and discussing this subject hypothetically, but now it has thougherly degenerated into something else....

  10.
I wasnt involved in this set of recent compalints but here's my opinion anyway...

I inquired about a bass and didnt have the money. Made a tentative request to look at the bass a few months later when I did have the money. This was tentively accepted. No problem. So a couple of months later said bass was re-advertised at £100 more. Did I publicly complain? No.

I was the first person to answer and PM a bass and wanted to see/play it. I got an answer busy till next week and it was obvious that there were other offers and I was on the back burner. Then I got another 'next week' so I said ok and left it. Buyer didnt contact me so ok. Did I publicly complain? No.

Stingrays are not selling at the moment. Get over it. I sold a Sterling in admittedly poor cond. for £500ish in 2007 cos I needed the money. Buyer was pleasant etc but sold it a week later. Did I complain? No. Did I complain when someone bought and sold my Warwick? No. If you are selling something it is only worth what people will pay for it. Sell it, keep it but do it quietly.

Arrogant offers are something else. Just dont sell that person anything ever.

    Rant over.
I don't know where you pulled all this attitude from, I also sold the 'ray for what I was asking, 650.
