1. The bass will be going up for auction soon on ebay, so if your thinking of making me an offer let me know
I had a play on this bass when it was in the shop and loved it but after all its a Sandberg. Nuff said!
No way, small world!

  2.
Surely it should be all on his insurance if he hit you?
Apparently not, single lane on the rise of a hill.

I am incandescent with rage, he hit me so hard it pushed my car backwards with the brakes on, his skid marks where immeasurably longer than mine... I really felt like bouncing his head off the bonnet when it happened and in retrospect I should have... at least I would have gotten some satisfaction out of it.

  3. It means allot to me since it was my first high quality bass, i've had it for about 2 and half years it's my only bass and I would be keeping for sure it if life didn't keep screwing me over...

I bought it for 1200 from a local shop (mid wales music centre), with the extra matching head stock and more expensive silver leaf finish.

It's in literally perfect condition (the pick-guard had a protective skin on it in the pic below, there isn't any damage) and comes with the Sandberg gig bag which is also in immaculate condition as well, this bass was totally babied since I used a Warwick Jazzman JX5 for gigging/practice with my metal band.

If you've owned or played a Sandberg you must have some idea of the build quality and tone... so make me an offer around 650 (which is what I was recommended on this forum), worst I can say is a polite no!

I don't have an amp atm but I do still have my old SWR 6x10, so if you wanted to bring your amp to try it before you buy that's no problem at all. I live near Montgomery in Powys and I would be happy to meet there, or a bit further afield to do an exchange/guide you in if need be.

I've sold quite a few bits on here and i've only had one bad experience, that was mostly due to circumstances and poor luck.

    Thanks

BUT: it looks like your bass has some significant upgrades (eg the finish), so it may be eligible for a place in a higher price region. nonetheless, I have no idea of how sandberg guitars are made available in the UK. In italy those are sold directly by the importer, and this allows for slightly lower price than most european megastores like thomann.

Probably around £650, although, I am not sure it will be the most popular finish.
Yeah the bass cost me 1200.00 GBP new inc VAT, I ticketed all the upgrades appart from fret markers because I prefer it without (:

  5. Hi there, times are hard and it looks like I might have to sell my Sandberg, it's in perfect condition, quite literally not a single mark on it (those nicks on the pick-guard are just on the protective sticky plastic stuff, which i've since removed).

How much is it worth on the second hand market atm, they are quite rare in the U.K due to the strength of the Euro but they have won allot of awards?

Here's sine pic-age for those that haven't seen it before:

  6.
I would spank my cash on that if I hadn't just spanked it on a Thumb, I love Sandberg, a lot.

If I sell some things, I may be in touch.
hey don't you dare complain!

that thumb was one hell of a score :)
