Hi there, the only reason this sucker is going up for sale is due to the fact i'm hoping to have niceguyhomer's GK rig in my possession by this weekend
I havn't even recieved it yet, but it will be in as new condition (pics will follow).
I am perfectly happy for any interested parties to come up and have a go, i'll provide the bass and amp..etc for you to have a try before you buy, i'm based in Mid-Wales, Powys near Montgomery.
I'm selling it for what I brought it for: £210, that is an utter bargin right there, but I need to re-coup a little cash from (hopefully) buying this rig... so it's a win win situation!
PM me for anymore info
EDIT: Ahhhh crap i've gone and put this in the wrong forum can a mod move it to the fs forum please! Sorry! Just excited -

If I don't buy a gibson ripper i'm currently inquireing about, i'll take it, i'll let you know either way.
-
Very interested, but can you post an up to date set of pics please?
it's on the first page!
Is that with the darkstars though, I thought they were big chunky mofos?
Have you got any sound clips of this bass, would really like to hear what it sound like.... I could be convinced to raid my Valenti P bass fund. -
It's a pain isn't it, you search for ages and then all of a sudden they all come at once
Could anyone give me an indication of the current 2nd hand market value of:
Flea Bass 4 string in sparkle blue, lane poor pup and badass bridge spec
Skyline DJ5 in white with Nordstrand Split Coil pickups, 3-band JZ3B Audere pre-amp
Both in very good condition.
Thanks! -
Too many superb basses... and so little cash
Really hope it finds a good home! -
I'll take it for £65 inc postage if it's still available?
-
nvm i've just looked up the weight of the gk1001rb and it's 18 lbs, guess I thought the gbe400 was light because i'm used to handleing tube amps!

Have you got any pics of the cab?
-
I've got a California JM4 and I can't see myself ever parting with it, excellent price.
-
How about a Genz Benz GBE 400?
-
Ok i'll bite, how much are looking at for both?
No idea of their uk 2nd hand value so bartering will ensue -
Have you changed your mind about collection only by any chance?
-
Have you got any recordings of this cab, i've never really heard much of the high class boutique bass cabs?
Since i'm not gigging either, i'm looking into more audiophile solutions rather than pure volume like I used to crave! -
Would you sell the Goliath separately?
-
Is this a regular usa jazz or a highway?
-
Is this bass still available?
-
I might be buying one, I was wondering how much I should be offering?
It's an early 70's one, according to it's vinyl stickers in pretty good condition. -
If you bring back the bass without the original packaging then you won't be charged VAT, I brought a mac powerbook back from china in 2003 and I didn't pay one penny in taxs.
-
Depends on how much you will be carrying it, I used to take a 4003 in a hardcase to practice with a crate power block on my shoulder + a back pack + a 2x10 cab on the metro.... I would have killed for a gig bag in that situation but I couldn't find one that fitted well enough for me to have confidence it would provide the same protection as my hardcase.
It was an utter nightmare but it had to be done, so if you will be handleing the bass alot while transporting it get a gig bag, but if not or it has to be loaded in with other stuff then go hardcase.
Or better yet, get both -
Got a price in mind?
